Hi, I encountered a problem that Roman units have no textures after installing your mod. What could be the reason?

Hi i loaded the mods alongside with DEI, i noticed i wasn't able to see all the legions (like legio I, Legio II ecc...) in custom battle with roman faction, is it normal? Are they avalaible only in the campaign?

Wow these units look amazing in-game. I'm saving this for when my PC can run Rome 2 and all the HD/Next Gen upgrade/mods at Extreme!!

@GamingKnight99, Please send a screenshot in the bugs section for review. Also, remember to stack my mods on top of other graphical mods and make sure you don't exceed the 35 mod limit to avoid errors.

Please help! Am playing the Imperator Augustus campaign, and half my legionnaires are bald or sporting Abaddon the Despoiler topknots, both due to not having helmets.

Am I missing something? Do I need to download something else?

@Izuru Alexandros RÆ Is this mod purely graphical? So if I use this mod on my PC but not on my laptop with the same save game, it's not going to cause any trouble?

@Izuru Alexandros RÆ: Hi Izuru. I use DEI and just want to confirm your mod is working as far as romans are concerned. The different reports for missing textures or body parts are definitely problems with the mod limit of this game. I can only give the advice to use for instance Kaedrin Mod Manager to merge small mods with no risk of conflicts to reduce significantly the mod-number. For this mod and DEI I just have a small question for improving: One is the garrison-units already asked for by others (sword-units with some armor as in vanilla-DEI or maybe this can be left alone by this mod?), second Vanilla-DEI have a bag of stones for the Accensi...looks nicer there and finally Antesignani should have also some armor as in vanilla-DEI. Those are just purely optically and hence of no priority.

By the way....you can fix that sword issue by this DEI submod: DeI - Alternative Hoplite Phalanx/Shieldwall, if you like.

Thanks for the mod! I wanted to confirm that Principes and Triarii are using swords when single units are in one-on-one melee. This is not the fault of this mod as I deactivated it and kept only DEI - the issue persists. So it seems DEI introduced in the last update 3.1.4. this problem (I guess). Regarding white shields (missing textures) I cannot confirm - everything fine here. I had those problems in the past when I exceeded the for me 35-mod-limit when suddenly graphical gliches occurrred with parts/weapons become invisible or shields had no textures. Hope this feedback is helpful.

@Izuru Oh thank goodness it worked! I must say your armor mods are both high quality and very historically accurate i hope one day you decide to cover other minor factions like the iberians or celts or germans your HD mods are FANTASTIC

Hola! Primero gracias por los mods son geniales! Y te molesto, porque cuando juego el DCL Imperio Dividido las unidades romanas solo se ven las cabezas y los escudos nada mas, solo en la infantería pasa, no uso DEI, solo tus tres mods HD.

There is one more "problem" I can report for now. Illyrian levies - they are AXEman, but your mod make them look like swordsman. Not an actual problem, but still... And many thanks for really great mod!!!

Thanks for the mod, great work on the HD textures. However I have noticed some of the shield variations are very pixelated and low-res and they standout a lot against the others which are now crispy clean. Specifically I noticed this with the Samnitci Principes.

I cannot believe I have so much time in DEI but I have never stumbled across these mods. They are incredible, and I will never disable them.

Only suggestion I have (with DEI) is to give the Italian Swordsman (the garrison units) some visual armour. You've given them clothes like the town guard, however the town guard have 8 armour and the swordsmen have 35 (and are considered "heavy infantry".

Thank you for your fast assistance! The load order of the extra .pack seemed to be the issue, as the Triarii's swords are no longer invisible and the Hastati and Principes now correctly use their spears instead of their pilas in melee!

1.-camilian.pack
2.-LEGENDARY EMPIRES HD: ROME
3.-LEGENDARY EMPIRES HD: GREECE
4.-LEGENDARY EMPIRES HD: GREECE 2
5.-Divide et impera 1, 2 and 3
Regarding the weapons, I've left them as is in their DEI version. In the case of the triarii, I've also seen that they sometimes change to swords, but that's something linked to the DEI. When I tried to change it, it caused errors. Regarding the hastati and principes, I haven't seen them use their pila in combat. If you can, send photos to the VISUAL ERROR REPORTING SECTION.

This is in DEI btw and have the extra .pack file for it. The weapon models arent missing tho, they hold spears not in combat but when engaging in melee switch to swords.

@Lil O Odd I have a similar problem early camillian era Triarri engage cav unit in melee and use swords instead of spears.

Found one more unit with same missing sword problem: Pergamenes Noble Cavalry. Again, in melee combat, when they change spears to short weapons -> no visible weapons in hands.

Additionally, Hastati (Early) and Principes (Early) both fight with their pilas as spears, instead of actual spears. They also have swords on their hips, which they did not have before.

Hi, using this mod for the first time. I notice there are reports of missing swords in the comments below, and I can confirm this is the case. I am using DEI, I have the extra .pack in the data folder and enabled, and the load order is this > pack > DEI. The unit in question is the Triarii (Early) for Rome in the early game.

It seems, there are problem with some units: invisible or missing "secondary" weapons.

Pontic Royal Cavalry - all riders doesn't have weapons while in melee(when they change their default long spears to short weapons). They look like they are holding weapons, but no visible weapons in hands.

Foot Companions - same problem, but only with a few soldiers: they don't have visible swords in hands.

Something is cooked with this update. All my republic era generals are missing both their literal arms and their swords. And a +1 to what belkan said with the white shields. I have all prereqs

Some Roman soldiers from the Veteran Legionary Cohorts, First Cohort, and pre-Imperial Reform Legionaries have their helmets invisible with the latest update.
