A solid and fun idea! The points idea was unique, and each arena offered something a bit different and interesting. It was a cool concept to build a map around, and I had a good time playing it.
I did feel that each arena maybe went on for a little bit too long, and I do wish I'd been offered another weapon or something in the final arena. The map was also definitely very boxy and simple - building out some architecture and style for each of the spaces would have helped a lot. The map was at least quite atmospheric despite this, I liked the general mood and feel.
Nice work, overall!
JUDGE'S NOTES: An interesting entry in premise - which makes it stand out a little from other entries where it's basically always "you're in Black Mesa somewhere during the resonance cascade". The wave concept was interesting and being able to purchase pickups, ammo, and weapons was nice too. I feel each arena beyond the first went on a little longer than it needed to though (especially the last one, which began to drag on a little), and I think to up the ante, more purchasable weapons/ammo in the final arena would've been good. The visuals in some arenas were good, others rather plain. Overall, a solid entry that is a good timekiller.
Feels like Painkiller to me.
Great job.
