Hang tight. I should have this updated very soon, not right the moment I post this comment. I'll mainly be changing the text added by this mod into a language file in the super off chance anyone ever wanted to translate it.

修改了各类木甲的效果和套装效果,让它们更有趣
每件木甲增加 10% 放置速度,木护腿增加一点防御,套装增加一个放置距离,适合开局建造
乌木套增加 10% 近战攻击速度
针叶木套增加 4% 远程暴击率
红木套减少 10% 魔力消耗
梧桐木套增加一个仆从位
暗影木套增加 10% 近战攻击速度,或者通过设置改成10%投掷速度
珍珠木盔增加 10%挖掘速度和光芒buff(应该),珍珠木甲加 15% 挖掘速度,珍珠木腿加 10% 挖掘速度,珍珠木套让下矿变得轻松,是升级后的矿工套

You're the 2nd one to suggest making the Shadewood better than Ebonwood. And I'll say the same thing. In vanilla, they appear to be on entirely equal footing. It's not till Demonite and Crimtane proper does Crimson gain a slight edge. Granted, I could give Shadewood that tiny bit of advantage anyway since it's not like I perfectly follow how vanilla does things. But I might just change the set bonus and make them side grades from each other rather than Shadewood being flat out better especially in the cases of worlds having both evils.

i think the shadewood set bonus should be melee dmg instead of speed just to keep with the theme of crimson being diferent (and better) from corruption in a slight yet noticeable way.

Thanks! That could be an option to change the recipe. Another option is to make the bonuses not work unless in hardmode. Not such which I would go with just yet.
No plans for Ash Wood for now. I think it already has a set bonus effect of reducing lava damage and making "On Fire!" last shorter?

cool mod! quick recommendation, but perhaps change the crafting recipe for pearlwood because it can be obtained with most common QoL mods like Fargo's Mutant Mod which has NPCs that sell pearlwood in pre-HM.

as for what to change, maybe add a little bit of pixie dust to the recipe? that way it's still easy to get while still locking it behind hardmode.

also, i wonder what changes ash wood will get, or if you have any plans for it once 1.4.4 tmod rolls around? :3

@rocksinshoe Thanks! There's still some issues with those mods I want to fix first, but at this rate, I'll probably just release a public beta soon, labeling it as such and noting known issues.

@JR Both Ebonwood and Shadewood items in vanilla give the exact same stats. Crimson gear getting a slight boost only starts to kick in around Demonite and Crimtane tier. I could possibly give Shadewood armor a different set bonus altogether.

This sounds weird, but IMO the bonus on shadewood should be 11 or 12%, considering all other crhimson stuff has a 1-2 point/percentage difference in favor of crimson gear.

I'm not sure why they did it like this, but for consistency's sake it would be a neat change
