You just need to subscribe to the mod, wait until it finishes downloading, and then start the game.

If you ever replaced any core game files, then please make a backup of your edited files, have the game verify files integrity (this will restore the core game files to their original state), then restore your edited files where the modding guide (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2818973760) tells you to.

Most likely that ship used CMP or CFMP, but the author did not add the material mod as a required item for their own ship.

Note for anyone reading: I misattributed the crash to this when the issue seems to have actually been a ship I downloaded from the workshop at the same time

Ever since I downloaded this, I can't get the game to start even after uninstalling the mod, reinstalling the game (even on another drive) and following all troubleshooting instructions. Log shows "Error: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION." Any advice?
