I think it would've been better as a demo cosmetic that's akin to that loch ness chest he carries. This is just stupidly bizarre and gimmicky and doesn't feel like a pyro cosmetic whatsoever. I get you like pyro but this is not a pyro cosmetic. Maybe a hip or back cosmetic for demo fits better. Also I would hate trying to headshot that as a sniper.

Kudos for the Dark Souls reference, but why'd you pick the class with no existing pirate cosmetics to create some very specific pirate-themed items for?
Like, I could see that big bag 'o' booty fitting well with Demoman's existing cosmetics, but what do I pair it with on Pyro?

The closest option is the diver's helm as you depicted, but the only thing diving suits and pirates have in common in the ocean. Makes as much sense as putting it on the fishing outfit at that point.
