The fact that you animated the hand is commendable, I really like the effort put into this. I also agree with Bong Pipe, having it curl into a fist would be more indicative of a real snatching motion. A small tweak like that would push this item all the more towards being an even better unusual.

i'd say try making the fingers move all together all in all out like making a fist and unfolding it would be better (just my opinion)
