i cant lie i think my mod is broken, every time i go into the first floor, i get a boss or burning elite enemy, i haven't made it past the first floor in like 15 games, can someone help plss

playing this with downfall, it just gave me the merchant enemy but with the buffs and cards of one of the defect bosses, combining the strengths and buffs of both. that isnt your problem but its hilarious

is there a config menu? game says there is, but all the button did was change the return button into a close button that did the same thing

Yeah sometimes your deck is horrible, but then sometimes you start with Vault and Omega. I was able to pick up Echo Form+ and Dual Wield+ later (and a mummified hand) to make it even more sick. That's what random is. This mod captures the random serendipity of life in a game. Thank you for this mod. I <3 random. F8ck the complainers who can't read =P.

Please see the FAQ, its all random. The odds of getting nothing from a combat reward is 5/48 or approximately 1/10. This is also counter balanced by equal or greater probabilities to get combat rewards with multiple items.
It is a randomiser. Random things happen. There will be times you get nothing and there will be times you get everything. Its just how it goes and in a randomiser you should be prepared for a scuffed af run and a god run

Goood MOD

I love how roguelikes and roguelites are becomming more common. I'm not happy however how they are becoming less and less rando, with a fixed amount of treasure rooms per floor, a fixed set of bosses for each floor, fixed levels of enemies on each floor, etc. This mod, even if not tuned, is a leap in the right direction IMO =)

Fun for some silly runs. RNG can really screw you over though so expect plenty of losses

some advice for anyone actually trying to win in this: take as many question mark and shop rooms as possible. Shops are insane, selling shit like Live Forever or event only relics for 1 gold. And while events are even more random than usual, they're still much less likely to instantly kill you than smth like Time Eater on floor 2.

The first run I won I only fought 7 enemies and only saw 21 floors. This was cuz I got the "travel immediately to the boss" event in act 2 and act 3 lmao.

If you're playing with lots of mods there are relics that crash the game if they're rolled as a starter relic. I've tried to fix it but its a complex issue due to the variety of ways random unique modded relics behave. You should be able to just keep trying until you roll a relic that works, I know this isn't ideal but atm its all I've got

Also, I don't know how much interest you have in continuing development and bug fixing for this mod but I think a discord with bug reports and posting logs and stuff would definitely help with reporting them lol. I personally love this mod and it's brought back my love for a game I have over 1k hours on

I dont know the exact compatibility per mod but changes have been made to attempt to include as much modded content as possible into the random pools.
