They are open to feedback.
And seems people are currently able to create addons for S&Box. Dunno if they got special early access for it. But there is already something going.

But think that if someone brought it up to them, they could put it on their list of things to look into. If not already there.

I am also excited for S&box. As for porting, I am not sure how they are going to support playermodels yet because last I checked they weren't finished the citizen animgraph and I would have to make my own (way out of my skillset). However, if they take a more modern approach and can handle disproportionate skeletons the same way unity (and maybe unreal) does than that would make it very easy. But that remains to be seen.

Oh, I'll give it a look.

It's sad that you can't update the addon anymore, due to Crowbar being.. wacky.
Though, I am looking forward to S&Box. The spiritual successor of Garry's Mod.

Think you'll be giving it a whirl and port this mod over when it releases?

oh, I didn't know thats what you meant. The mod I use is called "dynamic height + hull fix"

Hmm.. It's fine.
I think I found a solution for it. It's called Dynamic Camera 2.
It doesn't manually let you adjust camera height though, but it does try to match with the head of the model.

However, with the tall spirit, the camera puts it on the chest. Funnily enough.

do you mean make them as tall as a full hl2 rebel? There is a $scale option but I am not sure if it works with $attachments or if it just leaves them where they were. Also, I can't publish, update or really do anything on crowbar that requires a steam account login there. (it doesn't appear to interface with steam properly)

Definitely prefer this over the one addon where it's a direct rip from the game. Chibi looks best from a distance. Not up close. Haha!

Is there an option to upscale the player model itself? Would like to have the option to match the avatar with the view height. Thank you!

None of my playermodels work with outfitter. I wish they did so I could use them on my own friends' servers without having to prod. I do wonder, it seems that there are more people concerned with outfitter compatibility than there used to be, are there more servers that use it for roleplay or something? Or is it just the same situation as my friend-hosts: convenience (and storage space saving)

The issue I set myself up with in a fit of lacking foresight is quite a bit more work to make shapekeys. I made the topology of the face a grid with no actual way of animating the eyes as they are merely textured on. I only completed this model in a day and thought little of making shapekeys. The mouth at least has topology (if not all that great) and a bone. Maybe if I get inspired again, i will continue trying to fix this error and add shapekeys. It would be a good idea to make the model more usable for everyone including me cause my own renders lack enough facial gestures.

Damn, Well it was worth a shot and that's alright, I'll find a way, as for what I intend on using him for- Future SFM animations and posters that would involve him along with other well-known characters from different Universes, like Jojo and whatnot (Don't ask lol)

I don't know anything about source film maker and have no intentions of porting I doubt it is that hard with normal models however. I am pretty sure the stretching is due to the way I force porportions of regular male biped skeleton to fit the armature of Ori. I have no fix for this I am afraid. What do you intend to use the model for anyway?

Hey Crusader? I was curious about this and I have been wanting to ask this for a good while just haven't found the time to do so. I was wondering is there a chance if you could- (And it's a somewhat big IF) could you possibly be able to port this model over to SFM? (I would do it manually and I have in the past but the model tends to stretch out and I haven't found a fix for it anywhere on the steam guides)

I am pretty sure most of my playermodels don't work with outfitter. I am not exactly sure why but I have occasionally thought I found a solution. Still need to test my newer unposted models to see what causes the issue.

problem resolved. I lowered the length of the c_arms so no clipping occurs with mmod weapons any longer.

i also noticed that with some sweps (mainly modern warfare base and tfa) the viewmodel arms mess up a bit and you can see your entire arms onscreen

besides that the c_hands are great, i like how the fingers actually bend unlike the c_hands on that other ori playermodel

I got bonelab working now so I can do testing and see for myself what the issue seems to be. As of now, leave bonelab related comments in the mod.io page so it doesnt bother gmod players. Thanks!

Scratch that, i got new GPU before moding quest 2 and... well, i guess i've done smg wrong. It is shown in mod menu, however model isn't loading itself.

I actually already have it made on unity with the proper bones required I just have no way of testing it as Bonelab fails to start over airlink on my PC for some reason. I continually lag for about 30 seconds and then get a steamVR Fail.
I plan to upload it to mod.io or where ever the main hub for mods for bonelab is.
However, I could upload it despite not testing it myself and let you test it instead.

You cannot adjust the height of the playermodel in the game. You have to rip the model off of the workshop and mess around with the armature itself.

I am not sure. I do not have much time for shapekeys at the moment but when I do them, I will likely use both games for references and build off of those. No sense in limiting to the one game i suppose
