Hi Cat/NPC - I've been recently looking at your mushroom armor mod, and it's pretty cool. Question or two -->

1) by having all the different pieces of the parasite armor in the "slave clothing" list, a slave can have a bunch of extra mushroom armor put into their inventory since it doesn't fit on the slave. Is that intended?

2) is there a way to have the mushroom boots slot armor spawn on a newly processed slave instead of the standard shackles? it seems like this is intended, but the shackles seem to always prioritize in the spawn over items in the slave clothing list.

Great work - I've donated to appreciate your mod efforts on kenshi before

I took a look in the vendor file of the mod and it appears that they aren't added to any vendors. They'll spawn on NPCs, but won't be purchasable from clothing shops. That's a bummer.

Are clothes like the peasant clothes purchasable in clothing shops? I can't seem to find them in any of the shops for whatever reason. They spawn for empire farmers and such fine.

I like this mod a lot, but the bugged/missing inventory icons on some of the items are a bit annoying.

Absolutely brilliant mod! You've succeeded where many others have failed - your textures are beautiful and the models are exquisite - the only thing that irks me is the weird mesh distortion around the crotch area of the hakama trousers - the thigh area looks like a solid chunk and the crotch is weirdly seperated? I think it's just a weighting issue with the mesh.

Though, should that be fixed, this might become my favourite Kenshi mod of all time!

Enjoying the mod but I have to echo the sentiment about seperating the mushroom parasite, it's actually pretty good and didn't mind it for a week or so but I would love the option to remove it and just keep the clothing changes

I love most of the clothing and the integration into the leveling list, but I'm not the biggest fan of the added faction or the swamper armor. I realize that the clothing mods are available separately, but most of them don't appear to add the clothing into the leveling list like this one. I was wondering if there was any way to pick and choose in the overhaul.
P.S. These are the best clothing mods I've ever seen for Kenshi; it really is just incredible what you've managed to do here!

@cat yeah I think i just somehow had an older version or something, and re import the game several time before it stopped clashing. Not sure how I managed that. Thanks for the help, mod's great

@Large and Guilty, its possible you're using a really old version of the Fisher Folk Garb mod of mine. Sometimes steam fails to update mods. If you're using this overhaul though the only mod you would need is this one as it includes all my clothing mods minus Tengu and Merc armor. Try re-subscribing to the mod to update it. If that does not work then my guess is you're using a mod that edits my mods. I would not know what mod would be doing that though.

@cat the two items of clothing "dirty vest" and "farmer sleeveless jacket" are on different equip regions the vest being in the shirt equip region and the jacket in the coat/armour region any ideas on how this happened?

@Large and Guilty, NPCs and players cant equip more than 1 item at a time on their body slot. So i am not sure how that is happening for you unless your game is messed up or you have a mod that changes something?

Not sure if this is intended or even part of the same mod, but the clothing items used for hungry bandits/farmers/peasants don't mesh very well specifically the items of "dirty vest" and "farmer sleeveless jacket" they often spawn with both on and clip badly

@Ms. Bramble, the locking/schackle system in kenshi is like that. Depending on the level your character is and the level your shackles are will determine how easy they are to break out of/ remove.

@Mr. Nekuromu, You cant kill downed people in kenshi. Probably even less so half dead parasite host zombies, maybe get a dog or pet that can eat limbs or drain blood. Or throw them outside.

How on earth to you kill the mushroom parasite hosts? I have so many playing dead laying all over the place around my town. They heal while laying on the ground so... how are you supposed to deal with them?

Unlocking the shackles the mushroom parasite hosts put on you also unlocks the parasite fungus itself, letting you remove it way easier than intended I think?

@Fluffologica, shinobi theaves usually get into a fight with everyone. Thats default kenshi. Same with bounty hunters, slavers, mercs, city heros,or random factions that dont get along. My mod doesnt touch on any political alignment and all that just overhauls the civilians.

As others mentioned, I saw the empire peasants stay in a shop after closing time and get attacked by guards. Somehow, the Shinobi Thieves got caught up in the fight and for the rest of my game, they would immediately enter a turf war with the local law enforcement and lose in any new town I go to. It was a little awkward going to use the guild plastic surgeon while he's in a cage and buying backpacks of the trader, but it worked. The trader doesn't have spending money while he's in jail though, so it makes it harder to fence things.

@MultiTrace, Empire Peasants are of a different faction than the Empire. They are technically neutral/allied but can become enemies. Kenshi is weird but also has dynamic kinda political system. You mostly see it with trade ninjas or mercenaries where for whatever reason they start fighting with the guards or a civil war breaks out. Player influence is also a factor.

but the issue of police attacks on peasants is not clear - everything looks like an uprising, police take everyone, even those who are not involved :_)

@Jet, The parasite hosts can probably be enslaved yes. Why? anything that can walk can be enslaved in kenshi. Yes you can free parasite hosts by removed the mushrooms. You're not dead if you're KO and get captured by the parasites. You can still escape or follow them around like any other slaver. But you will need to remove the mushroom to be completely free.

@Trinity, if you are crafting the weapons then you need to use the appropriate level i.e. farmers weapons need to be farmer level instead of junk or something since they use different UV's. Otherwise they work as intended by adding variety for NPCs to use.

@MultiTrace, I've looked into the issue however I can not reproduce it. I launched a game and let it play for several days. What it seems to be is that Empire peasants get the "aimless" task at night, this occurs because empire peasants dont have homes to return too. Instead they wait outside or more likely will go to a bar and stand around until the next morning until the shops open and continue about their day. Every now and then one or two people will stand around all day staring at the sun but will eventually move along. It is possible there is some other mod in your list that may causing issues or I need more details but I cant seem to recreate it atm.

I enjoy the outfits so far on this new playthrough I started with this mod included. I still haven't visited the Swamps to check the mushroom parasite thing, though so far everything is nice!

are the parasite swamper factions supposed to be able to be enslaved? seems like it wouldnt be human at that point no? is there any way to reverse the infection? Or is my party immediately considered dead if they are downed and these guys come across em?

around the 50th day, imperial peasants in half the cities stand broken and aimless. the speed of the epidemic is variable - it can hit on the 20 day, or on the 50. which city will be hit - also by chance:steammocking:

Really good mod, I even enjoy the mushroom parasites! Had a play-through where 1 turned into like 35-55 over a week of play lmao. But I would highly advise putting them in a separate mod pack just because most people would only want to use this mod for the clothes.
But that aside, i feel like many would really enjoy a faction pack by you. Your creativity and passion are obvious, and would bring yet another spark to this amazing game!
