Ah I see. Not something I would have thought to check given I've been poking at the graphics parts looking for some overwrite or clash there as that seemed the more logical place to start. Means my thought about rebuilding one from the ground up would have worked but I'd never have known why if that is indeed the issue.

That's actually funny and really dumb, i just forgot to set a unique ID for the new lord, leaving the wight king hero ID. Result is there was an id conflict which was handled by the game by assigning a different id (?) on wight king hero and generating cascading conflicts with other heroes.

Would you mind sharing what the issue was and how you fixed it? I've seen similar problems with certain mod combinations (mainly jenosite's bad legends and vampire hero mods breaking other mods' heroes) and am wondering if it could be fixed a similar way.

I should have finally found the solution to the portrait/model bugs, it was tricky and i didn't have time before, sorry

The wight overlord and wight kings aren't affected in custom battle however when I recruited the wight overlord I also noticed that he is replaced with the model of the wight king, it's possible this might be a key in the solution to the issue, i'm slowly getting into modding for TWW, I'll see what i can find and possibly I find a solution for our mod author here to eventually implement

@Symonius It isn't a mod incompatibility bug and it's not just the portrait that's bugged. Every time I go to recruit a wight king it takes the portrait and the actual sprite's appearance of Drycha from the wood elf dlc. There's probably something in the files that's replacing the wight king sprite and portrait with that of Drycha.

For the portrait bug it never occurred to me, may be some kind of incompatibility with other mods.

@BigDZ i'm have that bug to. and in battle sprite is a mess. my wight king hero became a wood tree

I thried to edit the mod for access to all factions (couldnt get the Barrow legion to recruit one before confederation in two tries) but the mount doesnt work... that's fine for what I wanted them for I guess, but looking forward to your correctly edited submod!
