i'm using this mod in a Ravage single player mission but if i eat or drink something, the ravage counter refils but Vandeanson's Apocalypse counter not so my avatar starts to starve also with ravage indicators @max. What can i do to solve? :(

I asked the author about how to make custom recipes, but didn't really get an answer. Workbench seem to work fine for me. But sometimes it doesn't work. It seems like the storage crate brakes something though. Try building a new workbench and skip the crate.

So we just built a workbench and see a ton of different menus for crafting but none of them actually come up with a recipe. In the description it says (customizable blueprints), has anyone figured out what that means or how you like... set this up? We have no recipes despite having a storage crate linked to the workbench.

It works OK when playing SP. There are some issues though, but I've had good fun with it. Loot spawns and custom loot lists works fine. I've coupled it with the Misery mod which makes it more playable and interesting.

I have enjoyed this mod before and currently trying it out once more it seems to have degraded in performance compared to the original version. Unfortunate that the mod is now considered unsupported/abandoned.

The mod is dead. The author confirmed it on Discord. Which really sucks. Using a dedicated server, as Goldie suggests, could perhaps "solve" the issue.

We have the same issue right now and it's not making your mod enjoyable for a team of two players. How can you not reproduce it if literally multiple people have the same issue?

While I cannot exactly explain what's going on, I can propose a potential solution.
I think the way the mod generates loot is by following the host.
When I tried hosting the mod on a dedicated server, loot spawned everywhere.

Can anyone effin explain why when my friend hosts this in a MP session he's having loot spawn around him everywhere but I get nothing no matter where I fucking go? This is annoying as hell, it obviously works for him but not for me????

trying to create scenario in Eden Editor with this VA3 and ravage. I get an error that says in part - 2 elements provided, 3 expected File VA3\VA\functionsLE\cratefiller\fn_CFaddMagsCiv.sqf..., line 20. Any ideas how to fix this?

This mod is amazing, but it messes with every single Third Person Camera mod I could find. Only CimCam works with this mod, but even then, the settings for it don't show up. Is there any setting in Vandeanson that affects Third Person Camera position? If so, which one?

tao map forced on M is this mod killer (messes up a shit ton of my custom binds, specific mouse and small gaming keyboard)... I have never seen such amazing mod with one bullshit function that messes so much. Thank god for PBO Manager and the delete button, I'm just gonna cut that cancer out. Love the rest of coding thou, much love for making full customization in the cba. I will run it with so many missions hihihi...

Hello, I've run into an issue. I'm using the Battle Royale Singleplayer Experience and when I run it with this mod, all the enemies, including zombies, become friendly to me.

Because it takes a good amount of time for loot to spawn in houses and sometimes
you go in the house and it's empty and as soon as you turn your back it
Magically spawns items inside.

I side-stepped by changing the key-bind that the mod is using to Shift-M, now when I press M, the regular map shows up.

I've just side-stepped the map problem by just using a UAV Terminal instead of the map under equipment

...I just stumbled upon the hot-key to activate the original map while playing. To open the base-game GPS map you hold shift then click the map-button. Still, that was ridiculously hard to figure out and should be readily documented. I'm leaving my downvote until I see this noted in the directions and hot-keys

For anyone struggling with what I assume is the "TAO folding map" feature permanently toggled on due to the toggle being broken in the options, you can avoid the map and access various utilities by simply dropping your map. However, this of course leaves you completely blind without a map and, as I just found out, you can't access your inventory to drop it while bleeding out, so essentially unless Vandeanson fixes this I will no longer be able to use maps at all.

downvoted for the terrible map system I can't seem to disable whatsoever. I put up with it before but it literally just cost me all my loot after being killed by a glitch and being prevented from reviving myself in Zeus because I couldn't access the standard map screen. You can put in stuff tou like but domineering how people choose to play the game they paid for is practically never justified, and if it's supposed to be togglable, you either failed to code it properly or failed to explain how to untoggle it. I am SO angry right now.

For a Zombies module in Eden Editor you would need the Ravage mod for example. VA does not use Eden Editor modules but CBA settings only. Also, VA does not have own Zombies and relies on mods such as Ravage for Zombies spawn FYI

I added desirable muzzle devices and a few hand grips into "VA item categories and loottables" > "civillian/military loot" (they all from RHS) and those secific ones started to appear in game. If it works, it works :WH3_greasus_rofl:

Every other type of gear/attachment is found in great diversity ranging from vanilla and dlc assets to all kind of mods (rhs included). The only oddity is muzzle devices: all i see are Zendl compensator and sp6 pistol suppressor even with both of them added to blacklist, i used titles from arsenal

I do not think additional loot is categorizing weapon attachements in a way that it can be used by the random attachement generator.
Do you have the same problem with vanilla assets? I did a lot of testing with RHS and do not recall having problems with it. then again, it is one minor part of the loot spawner and i might have overseen a bug=(

Yes you should be able to adjust the AI loot table in the AI settings. Make sure the overall settings are applied correctly to your mission/Server (see respective ticks, else your settings might not be taken over). There is general CBA settings guideance out there that describes this if i recall right.

i even added these 2 muzzle devices to blacklists, and added others i wanted to see into "additional loot" section of items (mil & civ), Nothing changed.

Been working on a personal Ravage scenario for a while now.
After messing with the VA options I've gotten it to work how I need it to with Ravage for the most part. But I ran into an issue with the "You Are Dead" screen.

Right when I load up the scenario, I get the "You Are Dead" and then a black screen that stays.
If I am in the editor I can go to camera and exit and the black screen is gone. But if I'm not in the editor there's no way to get rid of it, even after respawning.
If I am in the middle of the scenario and get killed, the "You Are Dead" will pop up and the black screen stays again.
I dwindled it down to being a Ravage and VA conflict, but I don't see an option in VA to turn off that death screen or something.

Thank you very much for your reply. I joined discord, but unfortunately there are very few active players.

Another problem is that the melee module of WBK can be used normally when it enters the task for the first time, but when it continues the task for the second time, the melee attack module will be invalid. I don't know if this is the problem of VA or WBK itself.

And how to treat the black bacteria icon in the lower right corner of the game. I took drugs to cure bacteria, but it didn't work.

Hi, there are some showcase videos but we never finished our FAQ or guide, best join the discord for help tho.

for your specific questions:
- bulletwound; knife or surgery kit + vodka + bandage
- cutwound: bandage + vodka
-> vodka just avoids infection, you can do without

- Butchering: you need a knife in your inventory and look at a dead animal to butcher it
- any loot should drop in buildings on your map, unless it is a custom map that does not have proper building positions

Hello, I would like to ask if there are text or videos explaining the content of the game, such as how to treat fractures, how to find food (in addition to plundering), how to obtain meat (in addition to plundering from bandit camps), and whether rabbits can be killed to obtain food.

@hba: make sure the settings are adjusted in the right tab, depending on the setup, a setting can be overwritten. I think many features can be turned off or switched to 0% chance or something.

Unlike the old VA, so many features in VA 3.0 can not be totally turned off in (CBA) settings, even the VA masterswitch is set disabled. So I still use old VA with ravage.

good to hear!

For bulletwounds you need alcohol, a knife and bandages, you can do it without alcohol but you might get an infection.
Cuts can be bandaged the same way but without the knife.
when removing a bullet with a knife it might damage you a bit. If I recall right you can use a surgical kit to remove the bullet without the risk of taking damage.

No we started a FaQ but never got to finish it unfortunately... there might be info and help on the discord tho!

@Vandeanson I turned server persistency on the server.cfg off that seems to have saolved the issue. Now I only need manually load the db files when I when I restart the server rather than mission which is more tolerable.

Btw is there a faq sheet or something you have for the mod? Not sure how to fix bulletwounds

what other mods are you using? I would check if the problem persists without any other 3rd party mods. It might be that some other mod interfers.

inidb2 must be installed and moved to the Server files (where all mods are). and yes the command line must be updated. clients do not need the mod.

@Vandeanson I appreciate your quick response and ofc we have been very satisfied with your work. Yeah that's how I've been handling it for now, will have to do some more testing with my mod load. I've only been running about 4-5 players max so too many players should not be the issue.

Installing inidb2 is just a matter of subscribing and adding it to the -servermod command line, correct?

PS: maybe you can cheat your way around the bug by copying the files before a server restart and pasting the files back in afterwards =)
