Yeah, trying to investigate and figure out what went wrong. There's nothing De-jure under the title, and only the emperor has a vote.

He definitely won't live long enough for anything to de-jure drift haha.

Well, the only thing the mod changes are the foundation conditions. It really shouldn't influence pretty much anything else.
Azure Moonlight 25 May, 2023 @ 8:51am
Ah wait, it happened upon the emperor's death. There are no electors. I shouldn't have any other mods trying to change the HRE, this is strange.

Last night I just had a strange behavior moment in the game. The HRE had been created, and then I went after the kingdom of Aquitaine.
When I formed the kingdom, the entire HRE dissolved suddenly.
I rebooted the year, tried it again and it didn't dissolve. Not sure what happened.

I'm sorry, I'm afraid I don't understand the question.
Azure Moonlight 25 May, 2023 @ 12:41am
Does it implode the HRE in this mod to form a single kindom within it?

your Reasonable Early Middle Ages Rulers' Culture Assimilation Mod I've never heard of it. but it sounds interesting.

Ah okay. I see. The Historical Event Pack mod, tries to keep your intention too. Unfortunately it's not compatible with your mod, but maybe you could ask the mod maker, maybe you could work together?
Ikari  [author] 7 Sep, 2022 @ 11:49am
My mods are for campaigns that are supposed to be historically authentic - as in, to generate results that realistically could have happened. The point of this mod is to streamline the decisions - the two decision system was overly complicated and brought poor results. Notice that whenever the ruler of kingdoms you mentioned becomes German for instance, the decision becomes available. Combine this with the Reasonable Early Middle Ages Rulers' Culture Assimilation mod from my collection and East Francia should be ruled by German kings reasonably often, allowing the Holy Roman Empire to appear.

Okay I found the problem. it was the Historical Event Pack mod. I have now deactivated all mods and only activated your mod and yes I can see that the mod works correctly for Bavaria. but for the kingdom of Lombardy and Asturias and the West Francia/East Francia this option is not available, although there is also the option in the vanilla that these named can also found the HRE. I also found out why they can't, the entry code for form_the_hre_early was completely deleted in your mod. Is there a specific reason for this? Your mods are used for mega campaigns that are not historically accurate, so why delete the entry completely?
Ikari  [author] 7 Sep, 2022 @ 10:42am
Alright, how about the DLC?
Wotan von Edelsburg 7 Sep, 2022 @ 9:39am
no At least no mods that change the realm_decision.
Ikari  [author] 6 Sep, 2022 @ 11:08pm
Do you use other mods?
Wotan von Edelsburg 6 Sep, 2022 @ 2:20pm
Somehow the mod does not work for me.... to found the Holy Roman Empire it needs relationship with the Pope at least 25 +.

The following condition is also still there:
Prestige is greater than or equal to 1000.00
Empire size is 220 (Although on your picture is 100)

All the following conditions must be met:
Is king or emperor of Italy
Ruler of at least one kingdom or empire within the de jure territories of France, East Francia, Hispania or Britain.
No other Christian ruler is Emperor of Italy, France, East Francia, Hispania or Britain.
All of the following conditions must be met:
Religious ruler:
Opinion is greater than or equal to 25
Personal wealth is greater than or equal to 260.69 gold.

Am I blind or is your mod working?
Helmordren 4 Sep, 2022 @ 2:11pm
hey, we need a reasonable outremer, recently i tried to make outremer, i conqured all of the territory and had no indepenent holdings, i literally had to use console commands to form outremer, maybe do the same thing for rome because it has the same requirements for the restore imperial borders event
Ikari  [author] 4 Sep, 2022 @ 8:52am
Please note that the Reasonable mod collection is intended to use in Paradox games megacampaigns. A Holy French or Spanish Roman Empire using German names in Europa Universalis IV is immersion breaking, and immersion is what the megacampaigns are all about.

But I don't see why, historically, only germanic rulers could found it... Why any other Christian emperor wouldn't be capable or willingful to do that (In history)?
Ikari  [author] 4 Sep, 2022 @ 12:13am
That part of the requirement is identical to the original decision. Historically, the HRE was not just a big "empire" in the middle of Europe - it was a very German empire, despite the name. I will think about changing the rules - we try to follow authenticity, not recreate history, so a very pious leader could indeed invoke translatio imperii.
Bio the Human 3 Sep, 2022 @ 10:14am
So only Germanic culture Rulers can create it? Isn't it even more unfair? :sts_defect:
thepoweredminers 2 Sep, 2022 @ 10:38am
fair enough then
Ikari  [author] 1 Sep, 2022 @ 10:44pm
As I play vanilla Crusader Kings 2 with minor changes only, the chances are pretty slim. The mod you mention seems to be quite sophisticated, and I'm not an advanced mod maker as well.
thepoweredminers 1 Sep, 2022 @ 7:29pm
but anyway any plans to make a compatability patch for performance and authenticity with all your mods?
thepoweredminers 29 Aug, 2022 @ 4:23pm
so apparently it's performance and authenticity which is the problem for some reason
thepoweredminers 29 Aug, 2022 @ 4:15pm
it could be because I have other mods so I'll try that but it would be cool if some mechanics for the carolingian empire + its breakup could be a thing
Ikari  [author] 29 Aug, 2022 @ 2:31pm
I can't reproduce the issue. When I play as Karl, no decision is available to me.
thepoweredminers 29 Aug, 2022 @ 1:13pm
for some reason charlemagne is still able to form the hre while still being frankish at the 769 start, think you might fix it so that isn't the case?
