Alright, should be fixed. I genuinely don't recall what the now removed effect was, but spell intensity is still there. Uploading when steam accepts it

Game crashes on startup due to this mod now. says along the lines of:
following mods cause crash to database- atrefacts of legends pack, first invalid database record is: (not sure id this is all one line or individual clauses)
wh3_dlc24_ancillary_set_chd_astragothwh3_dlc24_effect_spell_mastery_
dummy in table ancillary_set_effect_junctions_tables
and pack file toothduck_artefacts_of_legends.pack
application will terminate

Thank you so much for the mod, it's been great to really feel the strength of your faction leaders. I have had so much fun and it really breathed new life into the game. I know the items are far from balanced however I have hit a bit of an oppressive buff from the A.I. Lately I have been playing a lot on legendary and I have encountered Astragoth Ironhand being incredibly potent across all play-throughs. I believe this is due to the -30% upkeep on his full set coupled with reduced resource costs overall that has his A.I. pushing out 10-12 full stacks by turn 30-40. couple this with roughly half of them having tier 4-5 units. My humble request would be that the upkeep be reduced somewhat as it currently is such a slog to fight end game crisis mode every game in the middle of my campaigns. I appreciate your consideration.

Just an FYI for those of y'all using SFO: the SFO submod is out of date and will still cause the crash, but the game should work fine without it. All it does is change some stats to be a bit more in line with SFO items as far as I'm aware, but this mod should still work while using SFO without the compatibility submod.

for anyone who has rpfm and knows how to use it go into ancillary_to_effects_tables, toothduck_enchanted_3mid then look for and delete the row that has the effect of wh_main_effect_ancillary_crown_of_sorcery then save packfile and you should be good to go

Based on the error message and the latest Patch Notes, I think the latest Hotfix's changes to the Crown of Sorcery for Azhag are causing trouble. Currently causing a CTD

Eh, i'm actually using a mod that makes Ai active by not sitting around with 8 armies around 1 settlement doing nathin' for 30 turns, so they are actually good at taking out each other, mostly order tho xD

In my runs I see both just surviving because the AI is pathetic at taking out other factions in general

Well, he is the Everchosen that leads the horde of the chaos to destroy all the world, so the answer is YES.
But i'm talking more about Ai side of things, Ai will never confed all the chaos factions (they don't even have it as diplomatic option), i dont rly care how many global bonuses order has when im myself playing chaos, i know i can overcome those easy, but Ai can't, out of all chaos factions only khorne can survive and fight out too, sometimes nurgle and tzeentch too, the rest of them scattered and weak by themselves.

One thing there is both maintaining some distinct identity, but also how the various sides can confederate - Archaon can confed almost all of chaos, while order factions are just locked to their race. So should Archaon be able to just become overwhelming stronger thanks to getting 8 different Lls with global bonuses?
For order factions, I already tried to just have it on the thematic LLs who are renowned for leading their people

Well that's already better, but you should just think about balancing both sides equally, if you give some global bonuses to 1 side - give it to another also.

That said, with the upcoming item changes, I may have a look at if there are any good new effects to distribute around.
Ultimately, in practice, the winning alignment will be whichever the player is on anyway

Should just lose normal items, and not their uniques though? Unless another mod interfering there.
Alas, AR is very good at letting you beat singular tough targets, true in the base game too
