this is INCREDIBLY useful, many of my mods have awful inventory sorting. i hate that whenever i use it, it switches weapon_slots_oncontextmenu back to 1, and i have to set it back to 0 each time. kind of a minor issue though, thx for this mod

what you mean "saves them locally so it always remembers even after restarts" is mean that after you saved in one map and when you enter the new one It will use the same one we saved last time?

Hi you can disable the context menu with convar "weapon_slots_oncontextmenu 0" in console or using the "Weapon Slots" button, on the left of the context menu.

most weapon bases use the context menu as the attachment menu, so can you add an option to switch it on/off too? also there seems to be a (singleplayer) level transition bug in which the change is reset to default (if "weapon transfer" option in the "weapon S.T.A.R" addon is enabled)

Added to C menu by default.
Slot added to disable weapons.
HL2 Weapons now display, but cannot be disabled/moved.

New update coming soon will show the HL2 weapons but not allow you to move them and it will also have a slot to disable weapons.

Yes that’s why I couldn’t get them to work correctly I could get them to show up in the listing but with them not changing slots there was no point so left it this way.

i believe the HL2 weapons use a different method than SWEP.Slot / SWEP.SlotPos

If someone can figure out how to get the HL2 weapons to work then it can be implemented but I tried and tried and they show up in the list of weapons just dont save when moved.

this actually works really well, my only gripe with it is that is doesn't work for HL2 weapons but besides that this is a wonderful slice of life change, crazy how nobody else thought of this earlier
