This mod needs a game version bump to at least 2.5.2 or permission for someone else to reupload and maintain it please.

I am using compass like gate pixel icons mod, may be because of it.

Well, it has been tested thoroughly alone. Then with 50+ other mods. Worked fine. You're probably using a mod that edits the icon files for some reason, which could 'cause a conflict. Try making a new galaxy and see if it works, with the mod alone.

What do you by "it doesn't work"?
I just tested this on a new save. Icons do show up colored. If you're trying to add it on an existing save you'll need to override the galaxy mods by checking the box before loading the save.
