Another mod that proves how fundamentally flawed Space Engine's framework is, to the point where modders aren't even able to make flora spawn automatically. Space Engine needs a 2.0 from the ground up instead of laying around in development hell for years and years

why do you have to spawn every individual tree and rock and not just have the mod automatically generate them on the planets? by the way, you can spawn the models by clicking on the ship icon on the left in-game. that's basically how you spawn ships as well.

I was super excited and then I realize you have to spawn them in manually :(

Maybe some day it will be possible for the game to spawn them in automatically.

@The Space Place it's impossible right now. Engine doesnt support that and i don't have access to shaders. So this is best i can do at this time.

I know everyone said it already but you should make it where the trees ACTUALLY spawn rather than physically having to take the time to plant 1 tree...

@Stimpicus don't use it then. Engine does not support mesh instancing, so this is best you can get.

I've subscribed and D-L'd the Trees and Rocks 2.0, then restarted SE. I don't have anything "hidden",either.
NO trees anywhere on earth (for example), "green" areas or otherwise. I've "landed" in many different areas that SHOULD have trees. What else do I need to do to "see" them on Earth (or on any OTHER planet?

Is this mod realistic? I mean can it only be found on plausible planets or just randomly distributed. So far I couldn't see any trees and rocks.

The trees seems to not spawn in an exoplanet I randomly visit. Does this mod only applies to Earth?

I actually take the assumption that the mod only works for exoplanet with life.
