I play this mod every Sunday at 6PM UTC+2 (changes with daylight savings time) with friends from the unofficial DoW3 Discord. We welcome players of any skill. Come join us if you want. I'm not aware of anyone else using this outside of individual people or private friend groups. The regular vanilla players are just allergic to mods, unfortunately.

Hello everyone, is there any band where people play through this mod? Without the mod, the game is unplayable due to the balance, and there are also cheating bugs that are used even at a "high level" because "I can."

I'm unable to mod on my main PC as well. I can only compile my mods on my old Windows 7 gaming laptop from 2012. I heard Company of Heroes 2 had the same problem, they patched the tools for that game but not for DoW 3. So my answer to that is... you can probably only mod on old hardware unless someone figures out how to fix the problem (very unlikely).

Question, Is it still possible to mod this game somehow? I have been wanting to make my own tuning pack but errors kept popping up. Or do I just need to find older hardware?

Thanks for the reply, and that's unfortunate, the changes would make the campaign a lot more enjoyable, the quick time to kill and slow resource gathering makes the campaign less fun than it should be. But still, great work on the mod. =)

As far as I'm aware, modding the campaign isn't possible, unfortunately. I knew of someone who was trying to get it to work a few years ago but I never heard of anything about it later.

Hi, the mod is great and does wonders for the pacing of the game, is it possible to make it work with the campaign too or only multiplayer?

Adding new units to the game is fun but unfortunately this mod in particular is a minor balance change mod. This means the game basically plays like vanilla but with a lot of number adjustments to make OP things less OP and underpowered things a bit more powerful.

I have added a few new units into my own made mod "Exodus April Fools" but even that may not be to your liking as the changes made there are more for the "funny" effect, ie, Gabriel Angelos front flipping over 100 range instead of his usual 10 or something like that.

Since Redux's Mod is broken with the Pop Cap.

Would love to see Exodus adjust to add all the units like the Redux Mod does. :steamhappy:

Redux mod has the Knight Errant, this mod would be complete with that addition for me. The battles on this mod get loads bigger. Love it!

Unfortunately it is impossible to add new races, new models that aren't in the game etc because of the limitations of the mod tools. Even some vanilla attributes are unable to be changed due to the game ignoring those values (for example, you cannot change which units are affected by doctrines). It sucks they have put these limitations on us.. We for sure would have had some great mods for more races etc if they gave us the ability to do so.

I am glad to see the continuation of the work. I would like the third part to be completed, as the second one is now, with the potential introduction of new factions. It will be great if you can remove unbalanced strategies from all factions in order to compete exclusively in the skill. Probably, one of the problems of this mod is to popularize it.

@Inquistor Poe As far as I know there isn't a discord server for DoW3 modding but you can join the general DoW3 discord if you want. At this point it's kind of a small community that plays casual games on Sunday.

Yes this is the current latest version. I will talking to Dullahan (the original author) to look at merging it into the main mod page at some point soonish after some other bugs have been sorted out.
