I started with the Tier 1 cargo ship, but all of its wiring is locked, why is that? Can i turn it on i can do some rewiring?

gonna add plug-in port to subs and enables swapped guns (some subs will have non swappable railguns.

Neither the engine nor plug-in socket are locked. If you have the sub on battery power then that is why the engines don't run. Battery mode is for idle. You could wire the engines to another power source to have them run on batteries.

The toggle is in the pilot terminal.

mid campaign the vodyanoy's engine has stopped receiving power
the plug-in socket next to the deconstructor is locked and i cant put wires in it to power the engine
any solutions to this?

Since last I checked the pack still is functional for 1.0 of the game. There have been many great subs I've seen that would make for good additions or a Volume II. But I'm burnt out on Baro currently so I don't have any plans.

As far as packaging the subs goes, treat it like any mod. The sub pack uses the same file structure as any mod on the workshop, be it a sub or item or creature, etc... Filelist.xml in the mod folder controls all that.

I don't mind if you upload adjustments to them, though it might be courteous to ask the authors of the original subs about re-uploading them. That can sometimes be a point of contention, but all the authors involved were okay with me doing it when asked.

Cant repair the bottom door on the Likho shuttle, just keeps trying to open it instead of fixing the massive breach

Likho appears to not have vertical maneuverability. Unsure what the cause is.

Not gonna agree. This sub collection is supposed to be played in semi-vanilla. It does not account for people playing with baro craftables + or any other mods allowing wiring up additonal items + nearly all subs got specific junction box with unlocked ports, that you could use for anything. In campaigns people usually wire reactor controller and oxygen and that's literaly it.

I have to agree with Ossom here, this pack is supposed to be for campaign. The fact that all of the junction boxes are locked really takes away from the freedom to change the subs systems that is really necessary in campaign playthroughs.

Indeed the subs have locked junction boxes, or rather, almost all of them are completely full on wire slots so you can't add any plug-ins.

I've thought about this in the past, so a few of the subs, (Vodyanoy for example) have labeled plug-in ports on the wall somewhere in the sub. There are a few subs that have this port.

Other than that you can download a mod that adds diesel generators (or portable reactors/batteries) and hook those up to power your devices, free from the subs main junction-box network.

It's a pain to rewire the subs to accommodate a free box or relay which is why I didn't get around to it.

Ended up removing this mod from my server, as due to the way we play with fabricated parts that we can add, versus the inbuilt locked power systems, we can't use these subs and add components in game.
I feel having the power components, such as reactors and relays and so on, having locked wires overrides the host's option of locking out rewiring removes a part of player agency i value strongly.

Outside of personal playstyle grievances, i love the ships! I reccomend them throughly, but do be aware you can't use them with mods that allow you to make & place your own components.

Not sure we're on the same page... Filelist.xml is a files at the top of any mod folder, it lists every piece of content in a mod. All you have to do is put the sub names in that list and they will load.

You can take a look at this mod actually by going to \AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\Barotrauma\WorkshopMods\Installed and finding the mod folder for Community Curated Subs. And see how I have it set up.

You just list all the .sub files in filelist.xml like a normal mod. Subs are considered mods.

Print a bunch of captain ID cards and give them all out. Or just use the console and spawn a bunch of captain NPCs as host. Then kill them and take theirs.

Aspocoentis is not from this. Likho has a battery mode in the command section that is probably switched on for you.

I believe both the Likho and the Aspocoentis are both apart of this pack, but both have oxygen issues and the Aspocoentis isnt wired properly. in that its ballast tanks are broken and cannot sink. If the bug isnt to do with this mod, sorry to bother ya

All the subs should have air yes. Diving suit containers are not hooked up as this pack was made before such a feature was implemented in Baro.

Hi, ive noticed oxygen issues with a few of theses subs. Would that be a mod conflict or are the subs poorly wired? As 2 of theses subs ive tried just dont have air

Nice, I actually didn't even think of the fact that it could be a flare until I was posting that and I probably should've just kept testing but thanks for fixing it.
