Ngl, that typeface vibes with the game, even cool for non-dyslexic folk. :steamthis:

omg thank u so much. i'm sorry i didn't notice the default size. i also wanted to say how much i appreciate this mod in general ^-^ i was so hyped when i saw it I have opendyslexic on discord and chrome and anywhere i can get it :3

@rhodes_the_cat Thank you for your feedback! Originally, the default size was the smallest, not the 1x. However, I’ve updated the mod so that the 1x font size now matches the default to avoid any confusion. I hope this works better for you.

nevermind yeah it increases the size of the font way too much it's hard to scroll through all the text with how big it is on 1080 even after turning down the font sizes as low as they can go ingame

hey does this mode make the font bigger even without changing the font size option in their ingame settings? it seems like ppl who didn't consider 1x font size in 1080p too big were frustrated by the font being too big after turning it on on our dedicated server. i find playing in 1080 annoying for that reason in the first place but there's no ingame way to turn the font size down.

only up. which is ok in vanilla but if it's too big just because of this mod then idk how to help them and i really want to play with this mod cause i'm very dyslexic and was losing my shit when i saw that this existed

i also tried setting it up just for me client side by moving the files like how you explained to in your response to riko prushka and i couldn't get it to work once i open the game the main menu was still the default font

Thank you very much, I will give it a go!

@Arcanant I discovered a solution, you can copy the fonts from this specific folder and use them to replace the default fonts.

Copy files from "steamapps\workshop\content\108600\2847125687\mods\OpenDyslexic\media\fonts\EN"

Paste files in this folder "steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\fonts"

My hope is that this workaround will work for you. :hexhappy:

@Arcanant Unfortunately, in order for players to access this mod, the server administrator must first enable it. This is because servers only allow the use of mods that have the same exact files as those on the client side.

I tried in on multiplayer but it doesn't work. I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to make it client based and multiplayer-able, as it is a visual effect, or make it configurable client-side

It is wonderful to see that this mod is making a positive impact. Thank you for taking the time to provide your valuable feedback. :happy_cats:

I've gotten pretty good at compensating over the years, but this is just, nice. Thank you.

I'm not downloading this as I don't need it but my little brother has Dyslexia and I appreciate this so I came to upvote and favorite it to help. This is stuff that should be included in games normally.

@Kokorocodon That's so nice of you to say.
I'm not dyslexic either, but I made this just in case anyone needs it.
