You could argue the C.A.P.P.E.R exists and falls into that trap, thing is it's an item from a retired crate series, you'll hardly find someone using it unless they were playing during the invasion update or they sunk £30 into it. The general shape still looks like a pistol from all angles
We should just stick to warpaints or skins for weapons, we already got a taunt kill, no doubt that'll cause a ripple effect on the workshop. And People have already complained about a lot of items messing up the design of the game.
Scout's got a very noticeable double-handed grip when he holds just about any pistol that stays consistent when he's running around and Engineer strongarms it one-handed.
It's a bigass attachment, but it's not going to negate the animations attached to these weapons and the characters who use it. If a giant, orange muzzle attachment somehow makes you forget that Scout's got a default pistol equipped as he's running back and while both hands are on the grip, then that's a you problem.
TF2 is absolutely not meant to be some tacticool shooter, so the idea of attachments for the stock pistol being this is just a great idea; making it smaller or making it a regular suppressor kinda ends up defeating the concept of what this is meant to be, which is intentionally awkward for an improvised attachment.
It's an improvised suppressor/silencer.
I love the idea tho.
What pray tell is "practical" about having a glowing beacon on your head, or wrapping your weapon in holiday lights? Do you think players are concerned with tactical advantage when they put on hats so tall you can spot them behind cover? Do you think the Conscientious Objector is as popular as it is because it's a practical weapon? Of course not!
This is a SOLID addition to the community's Weapon Accessory proposal. And if you disagree, the least you could do is actually EXPLAIN your thought-process, instead of just mumbling "it looks like shit" before toddling off.
does this weapon have custom firing sounds
