Like I previously said, AOBA will probably redo this mod to depend on the Exosuit Framework at some point. Exosuit Framework was updated to 1.6, but still has a number of bugs that need fixing. It will be updated. Eventually... It will take time, be patient, play without it or just don't play at all, your choice.

We all wanna see this mod on 1.6! It's really cool mod, which maybe and little bit too hard to get, but work excellent!

AOBA has just updated Exosuit Framework.
Given that these things are basically small mecha, this mod might be updated to depend on that framework and function as exosuits.
So, it will be a while longer before this mod is updated, I'm afraid.

遇到一个小问题,有个开机甲的小人到访我的营地。能看到机甲,但是小人隐身,导致一直报错《NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object》。最后用开发者找坐标,派人对话之后,这个小人就不隐身了。

1.5 and I'm having the DropPodIncoming bug where ally pawns in drop pods come as if they were wearing a mechframe. Their tabs even show the armor and battery, but they never land/or remain invisible in the coordinates, lagging the game. Has anybody found a fix for this? It's almost 1.6 and this is the only mod with cool mechs. I hope someone updates it for the dlc.

@plusing123 (dragonheart),You can try to see if the [PS] Reconditioning Pod (Continued) MOD is the cause, at least my black screen is caused by this. If I hadn't retraced the conflict, I'd have forgotten that I'd found this BUG three years ago, because I only said so and didn't provide an error log

Not sure if anyone has noticed this yet, but I just tested this with Simple Sidearms and it works fine as long as you don't have any weapons equipped to a pawn before they enter the Mech. Also make sure the sidearm bar is completely clear before before boarding as well; so you can't just drop said item, you have to right click any weapons in the sidearm box to ensure the colonist forgets about them completely.
This mod is really fun though, and I hope this helps anyone that wants to use Mechs without nerfing the rest of their colony.

Yeah i just used it for the first time and it seems there are conflicts with sidearms as someone below me said as now the colonist who used the mech has a bunch of duplicates of the mechs gun in his inventory that he can't drop.That really sucks as the utility of sidearms simply trumps having mechs and I don't say that lightly as I really want to use mechs. If anyone knows if there is a way to fix this like a compatibility mod or something leave a link in a reply it would be appreciated.

Author you forgot to set generateCommonality to 0 for CE defs of XFMParmor_MechanicalArmorCore, this causes shenanigans.

just now built myself the FALCON mechframe for my melee fighter, only issue is turns out she cannot use it due to needing a 15 in shooting, which is confusing cause the Falcon is a melee mech.

I found one possible cause for the lack of recipes in the Fabricator - and it's down to load order as expected. If you are using Alpha Implants and the Mechframes together, load Alpha Implants after this one. It was causing the recipes to somehow fail, I assume because it might have been trying to patch the defs of the mechs? Dunno exactly but it's odd.

seems like when switching to the owls precision mode for the gun, it isn't patched for ce and doesn't fire and creates a ton of lag.

What exactly is the incompatibility with Simple Sidearms? is it as "simple" as folks with sidearms can't use mechs? Sidearms is a staple in a lot of modlists, so if its a user avoidable incompatibility, that would be neat.
