It doesnt bring back old gore, that is in gore settings and called legacy gore shader by default -answer dor npendergast6

I've been playing since they made it, as much as I loved the old textures and bunch of removed stuff, I think that the new textures are still good, if these replace the items then I prob won't like it but if it adds them as seprate items then that will be fun
