Doing the testing with the binary method, a conflict in a list of 800 mods can be found in under ten game starts.
If you can recreate the issue with only this mod loaded, you can share the log of this and Ill have something to work from
It's unlikely that this issue is actually small based on the comments here going back months. At a minimum, it appears to be a common. Apologies if my previous comment was abrasive; here is the log. I am not familiar with troubleshooting this game's mods in particular so hopefully this is what you were wanting.
For some reason, those that has the issue are also the ones refusing to do any type of bug-report or any work of their own trying to find the cause of their issue. Some would define this as pretty entitled behaviour.
"[...] and reworked it so that the number of poisoned meals in a stack is tracked, and when meals are picked up, there is a proper chance of picking up the tainted one(s)."
is putting me off as I use OgreStack to increase stack size. Or is this incompatible with stack manipulating mods to begin with?
The only way to know exactly what's going on with someone else's computer is to get as detailed a report as possible, or to become that person, or to become a hacker whose hobby is spying on other people's computers.
If you are having trouble understanding the jargon in the steps described, perhaps you could reply with the difficult words and Ill do my best to explain them.
Either way, just posting "broken mod" gives me no new info and just shows how little you care about the hard work you say I do.
But responding with your attitude in the whole thread and asking people to take a 12 steps procedure to report a bug in jargon that no one understand except other moders is not helping anyone either. My current playthrough almost got nuked after 10 hours of gameplay because of a immense food poisoning wave. That's wasted time for me and for several people in this thread in which you answer in the most adolescent attitude driven manner.
If one single moron tell you your mod is broken sure whatever, this whole thread is full of people telling you the mod obviously has issues and you're pretty much telling them to fk off.
Take a break from modding maybe
I have to be honest, i don't think you can change how people will behave to report issues, most don't have a git account and there will definetly be apathy to try and join a discord to get help even though i do think you'd probably do your best to do it then.
It would be better if steam provided a better user to mod-developer interface for reporting issues but until then this will be war of attrition on human behaviour i don't think you will win.
Atleast thats my 2 cents, im sure with 150k subscribers there would be more people affected if it was widespread.
Anyone else with similar issues?
