@牛奶大魔王 Of course, I'll be happy to add the link of your submod in the mod description. And thank you very much for translating it.

I just checked the game after the Quill update and it seems that there is no Hellenist restoration available, so I'll remove the Roman Empire restoration decisions as they are no longer needed, but I'll leave the Hellenic restoration ones.

I just read the announcement, and yes, it seems that a large part of my mod became redundant. I'll check all the related events/decision in the vanilla game: if Paradox also added the Hellenist faith restoration, yes, "In the Heart of the Mediterranean" has become redundant. If not, I'll re-release it removing the parts that are now luckily covered by the base game.

Since Paradox make Restoring the Roman Empire available for all Abrahamic faith, will this mod be redundant?

I've updated and tested the mod to the current patch, if some problem arises, please leave a message here :)

Hello, it will be updated in the next days :)
Caloens2k1 9 Dec, 2022 @ 12:11am
No update?

You can already restore the Roman Empire as Muslim (or another Abrahamic religion) with this ITHOTM if you hold the Sultanate of Rum. You just have to create Rum, defeat Byzantium to have it gone from the map, then you can re-create the empire for yourself and after just claim the needed provinces to restore the Roman Empire.

Hello again. I've updated the mod to have the decision shown from the start: now the requirements are visible when a character holds the Byzantine Empire, even if Christian.
About the restoration of the Empire if a character holds the Sultanate of Rum, it will require a new decision to add it in the game with the proper flavor (the character being Muslim and/or Turk), but it's something I could definitely add in the near future.

Okay, I'll try that and report.

Also, I think you should allow those with the Sultanate of Rum title to be able to reform the Roman Empire. It could be a cool bit of alternate history.

I suggest you to try running the mod only with the vanilla version or the officially supported mods and see if there is still the problem.
If the decision show up after conversion it might be a conflict with other mods.
Also, the conditions require a character to belong to traditionally Roman cultures (possessing Latin or Byzantine pillar), so you'll need to have a ruler to belong to one or to make an hybrid culture with a Eastern-Western Roman pillar.
Tomorrow I'll try to work on the decision so to make them visible form the start, to avoid them to be misleading.

Yes I am, I don't know what would affect this though. Do you want a list?
Rhaenys  [author] 1 Aug, 2022 @ 5:56pm
I'll look into it; are you using other mods in your playset?
Miku Moments 1 Aug, 2022 @ 5:52pm
I just converted with a Christian Byzantine emperor to see and I still can't do it, the decision isn't there
Miku Moments 1 Aug, 2022 @ 5:39pm
So you can't recreate the title as a Muslim, Jew, or Gnostic if you create the Byzantine empire title rather than convert as the Byzantine emperor?
Rhaenys  [author] 1 Aug, 2022 @ 5:10pm
Yes, ITHOTM uses new decisions, and the new one appears if the ruler converts to Islam, Judaism or a Dualist faith. After the conversion you should see them.
Miku Moments 1 Aug, 2022 @ 4:58pm
You have to convert to get the decision?
Rhaenys  [author] 1 Aug, 2022 @ 2:59pm
No, "Travel to the Peloponnese" is related to converting to Hellenism. After conversion to Judaism you should see "A new Faith for the True Rome" if youre playing as the Byzantine emperor.
Miku Moments 1 Aug, 2022 @ 1:03pm
As the Byzantines, the one at the end is just Travel to the Peloponnese. Is it tied to individual branches or the categories as a whole? Judaism, Dualism, etc
Rhaenys  [author] 1 Aug, 2022 @ 12:29pm
Which empire are you playing as? With the Byzantine Empire the decision is "A new faith for the true Rome" and it should appear at the end of the major decisions tab. For the Italian one is "A new faith for a new Rome".
Miku Moments 1 Aug, 2022 @ 11:12am
How do you restore it as non-Christian ruler? I created a Jewish emperor just to see and it still says "Either your Religion is Christian, or Graeco-Roman, or your Culture is Roman" but I do have the "Travel to the Peloponnese" decisions

Interesting! I will keep an eye on this.
