I got stuck with the main colour palette, so i tryed to mix an old-rusty grey for the main color to represent an 'old fashioned ship'. But i'm trying to make my best effort in the 'Red Tail' and 'The Swallow' layouts. :)

Antennae and Vent could be a nice improvement for a better looking. Will push feedback ASAP.

Awesome job on the Kestrel! I haven't seen enough FTL creations in the workshop, glad you're doing so.
Here's a few tips though:
1) Try making the cruiser a bit more white, like it is in the game. Yours is a tad too grey
2) Put some antennae on the side of the kestrel's engines to resemble the pointy thing they have in the game (see: http://i.imgur.com/wdxMpl.jpg)
3) Any way you could stick a vent on the roof as well?

Oh man... FTL ship wars... so much yes. This needs to be a thing. Yesterday is when this thing needed to be. =o

I made a early save for the ship, I was pretending to make the Kestrel's advanced layouts in the near future.

5 stas. love ftl. would loveto see more from you if your up to the task. it would be amazing to have full on FTL ship wars in a server =P. join a crew and fight. maybe fly some drones ;)

I do like how to made the entrance to the vessel.

It was very neat to look at. I may have been expecting a bit more detail for some of the systems, but you put everything together rather well. This would work as a SE ship.
