@stevensdomi true lmao, after all I prefer to play on maps like this one :)

@icantthinkofaname I would'n call it boring, We need maps for every kind of players. Not everyone like Mount Everest maps or small tropical islands.

@Treeost I totally get what you mean. I do have heightmaps along highways like i-35 and 40 such as Guthrie and Sallisaw, and sometimes I do fiddle around with heightmaps and make it more suitable to my liking so perhaps at some point, I'll be able to make a map like that :D

Yeah I grew up around the Cushing area, so been looking and trying to work it so while may not be an exact heightmap, it would be able to get most of it semi realistic.

@Treeost Unfortunately from what I can tell from the heightmap, the map would cut off around the small interchange between Highways 177 and 312 north of Stillwater, and not much in the way of big rivers and turnpikes. However, there is assumedrisk's Waving Wheat map that's heavily based off of OKC and surrounding areas if you do want a map with more rivers and highways. Probably my favorite map on the entire workshop, so I say give it a shot if that's what you're after :)

Cool that area within 60 miles are 2 turnpikes I 35 and a river with terrain migrating to hills. I have not checked if it would all fit on a map yet. I was looking at it as highway 18 north as it hits 33 and ventures north to 51, and the sh thru ripley to me made a good interesting local highway network.

@Treeost Thanks! And Stillwater, eh? I actually got a map of there in progress! It's probably like halfway-ish done so far. I haven't touched it in a couple of months but with you mentioning it, I'll see if I can put it out within the next few weeks :D

Very nice. I have been looking at local maps around Stillwater / Cushing / Stroud / Chandler as it has the Turnpikes and or the Cimarron and is changing from the flats of W OK to the Hills of E OK.

@stevensdomi Thank you! Can't argue with saying that they don't fit the style most people play, but hey, the boring places deserve love too :D

I like your maps. Even it's not my style, they have something that want me to build a real American city and suburbs. Maybe it's because it's a real life location. Again a great job from you.
