This would be nice as a blueprint. I'd actually like to see you create a blueprint variant of this, with a block wire connecting them all together.

I have managed to get it an uptaded new type (that have wings, and moving torso), but still trying to make it walk, so for now it is like the previous one, and I had managed to solve the blow up bug that Nekuromu reported, it has the landing gear fault, it doesn’t work on walkers anymore (changed to artf mass and whells), and some small changes to make things work, flight instability is an Keens bug when used rotors, so I can’t managed to solve this, I will try a bit more get this to walk before upload to you.

Can I give continue the Mech Project and update it? So far your design is the best I found and I suck at armor design, but somehow I managed to recreate part of this design just watching the video and I’m adding some upgrades, at now it have O2 Supply, Script support, Battery and beacon, The arms is working fine, I’m not recreated the legs yet, but when the first prototype was done, maybe I work on a large Mech design, when it was done I can give you a private blueprint of it.

hopefully it can be fixed somehow, these looked pretty cool. I'd hate for them to be unusable because of some rotor bug. Crazy how unstable the old worlds can be... but I guess that's Keen for you. (Well new ones are pretty buggy too xD ) (oxygen, lights, and those blasted large thrusters)

@Nekuromu this was submited more than a year ago, the rotors and the game have changed a lot since then. I will take a look later and see if this can be fixed

so I tried to load these into my game, upon entering the world all them had exploded into bits... there was so much floating crap going everywhere. only one that made it was the uncolored one that was hooked to the platform... then I tried to turn it on and grind off the connected armor blocks that held it to the platform. Upon grinding, it exploded into bits much like the others.

Add landing gear to the arms and you have a Powerloader! Now all they have to do is add Sigourney Weaver to drive it for you.

I liked the one that can walk so i can get around my base and I wanted to replace the tools with guns. all in serious though, awsome builds.

Would Be cool If you could actualy walk around in it :P, so if you had a super space-ship, it could have a repair arm and a missle/machinegun arm to protect itself and repair the ship.

man you did a great job, these are fucking awesome to see "powering up" ,i'm intested in bulding mech's myself but i'm gonnna rework my entire prototype with components of yours lol, fantastic. I hope the gameplay will alow for these to walk and fire frome the arms one day!

You should give the one that has wonky flight characteristics wheels. Not saying that'll help handling, but it would look cool, lol. Might solve the being able to walk around currently.

if the torso is easier to handle without the legs, why not do it like u did with the wings. so if in emergency, where handling is needed the most, just detach the legs.

I think I found a way to make the "walking" or something by puting the two mass blocks at the center of mass of the body. Then adding 3 more gyroscopes and lowering the landing gear autolock to 2.0kn. Those fixes make it so easy to hop or walk or whatever.

Dude!, this is amazing!

I loaded this expecting the mechs to fall apart, and faceplant (not necessarily in that order)
but they fly, turn, the arms move and you can barely see the motors in the joints...
I lost control of one of them while flying, quickly turned dampening on, and watched it gracefully tilt itself back right-way-up, and land, as if on autopilot!

With the addition of wheel control, maybe you could make a practical mech with a wheeled lower half but normal body.

These are really cool, and some very clever rotor work going on.
This makes my repair ship with retractable solar panels look like a toddler's sketch in complexity next to this. :(
