Mod News Update! I have almost completed the new model for "Specialized Containers" for small grid. These containers will only be able to hold a specific item category (Ammo, Ore, Components, etc.) but their inventory volume will be a bit greater than its standard size. This will encourage ship specialization, and give some incentive for doing so.
Lines 44, 45, 46 in file Data\CubeBlocks\HeavierContainers.sbc
You are missing the folder name "Cubes" for the path to your models.
Anyways... glad to offer a suggestion. I really like those storage shapes. They are very inspiring when making cargo ships or long range exploration ships a la 2001.
I don't think it's the ULTIMATE in cargo container ideas. But I'm sure it has a niche. :)
And i have an idea for a new reactor skin: I like the looks of the Warfare II reactors, but it would be really really nice to have a small reactor which isn´t a conveyor corner but a straight line so that we can build a "warpcore like" reactor-row into our ships.
Would also prevent certain situations, such as over mining, from filling every storage on your base leaving little wiggle room to fix it easily.
