I want to do more factions including the ones you have mentioned but the plans for when Stellaris 4.1 updates are mainly going to be improvements for my existing shipsets.

If you just want the default model, just delete the "empire_01_entities_Coloussus" ASSET file.

I actually see what you are doing wrong here, you need to be exporting the texture in dtx5 BC3 (interpolated alpha) and nothing else. The textures that are exported are supposed to be in a dds format, not a jpg format. This is regardless of whether you are using Jorodox tools or not, otherwise your textures simply will not work.

Hey hopefully the mod Creator sees this but was wondering if a First Order ship set will be in the works? Or Hapes or the Resistance (I am aware they used similar ships to Rebellion) but just wanted to ask or even request/ see if anyone else wants the same thank you love the mods all of them

Hello, may I ask how to change the model of a single ship? I feel that using the Death Star as the model for the Colossus ship seems really odd and jarring. I'd like to replace it with the default model, but when I opened the mod folder, I found its file structure isn't like a regular ship model package. Can this be modified? Or rather, how can I modify it?:Hire:

Exporting the mesh and writing the .asset code structure isa no issue, but i am stuck on the texture part and unsure if I can seperate the hull and lower hull

I'm struggling with properly exporting various Star Wars ships I commissioned into my Stellaris mod.

The main issue being the locators and texture.

I am in desperate need of help of guidance since most of the guides about this still use Jorodox Tools instead of rossg's pdx io mesh plugin for blender.

How do you usually approach exporting custom ship models and assigning locators.

If you can write steps please let me know, I think the texture creation part may be messed up because I didn't export the commissioned textures for the comm model in dxt6 dds compression (it is currenlty in jpg)

Torpedo sphere is coming and is actually a priority right now. Can't say the same about the Eye of Palpatine, I don't rally feel like it's needed in this set.

I really don't have any idea how to solve this problem unfortunately, it shows up for me as intended. My only guess is that the mod either failed to download or that you don't have it enabled.

I have the same issue that the ships even in the predesigned Empires have the Default Stellaris shipmodels. Tried to create a Custom Nation but the Shipsets are shown in the preview as defaults when i Pick for example Galactic Empire ships.

When I look go to select a shipset I don't see the Empire, CIS, or Republic shipsets from your mods, is there an idea of what the issue could be?

This is basically just another choice you have for the appearance of your ships when creating an empire, much like humanoid or mammilian ships. So yeah (unless I am misunderstanding your question).

Now that I am a bit more experienced with model making I might not need to, I could just modify the existing textures (though doing so for all models in this shipset would take time). Could be a fun summer modding project for me.

Well, the models that you use all depend on what I said in the credits page for each of my shipsets. Take the credits for this shipset for example, the models from the Mod Database and EvilleJedi are free-release and I don't really really care if anyone uses them or not, in the case of those, go ham. But this shipset also consists of a significant number of models from Elratie's Star Wars Empire Ships which will require you to go ask for his approval to use those models. Make sure you have a good look at what I said in each of the credits pages before using anything from my sets, you are most likely need to ask other modders for permissions.

I’m in the very beginning stages of a total conversion mod, starting right after Endor and ending with the defeat of Caedus. Could I get permission to use the ship sets, I’m not exactly sure how to create them from scratch. You’d be credited heavily upon release.

All shipsets made 3.14 and before are broken at the moment. Please wait till the mod is updated from Stellaris 3.14 to Stellaris 4.0

Well unless more people specifically request such, I am not going to do that. But it isn't to difficult to do it yourself. All you have to do is go into this mod's files and under gfx/models/ships/empire delete the "empire_01_entities_planetary_rings" ASSET file, that will default the orbital rings to a mammalian appearance.
