Just to check as well, I'm having trouble getting to SSJ2 is there something I'm missing or am I supposed to get to low health while in ascended SSJ?

I found out that its not just the charm, any damage buff from another class is applied to ki damage

Quick Suggestion: the Dragon Gem Necklace and the Spirit Charm are much stronger than they seem and should probably be nerfed, the dragon gem necklace gives a +44% damage boost, when it should only give 9%, the Spirit Charm gives a +76% damage when it should only give +20%, I think what happens is the class based damage buff from each is applied multiple times
ie. Dragon Gem Necklace +9%(summon)+9%(melee)+9%(magic)+9%(ranged)+9%(ki) = 45%
Sprit Charm +14%(summon)+14%(melee)+14%(magic)+14%(ranged)+20%(ki) = 76%

Unlocked the upgrade for Instant Transmission via the I.T Volume 2 Tome, I noticed that the Instant Transmission can't be used to travel farther distances by holding the button Its assigned too, Is this an Intentional change or a bug?

is there any way to get a faster beam charge? being able to charge all the way up to 20 isn't as fun when you have to wait a full 30 seconds each time

not sure if im the only one having this issue but my ki damage, casting speed AND ki usage is in the negatives....as far as i know i didnt do anything to break it but my forms wont even give me the buffs because im stuck in -76 :/

I managed to get the dragonballs and used the Genetic Reroll to get the Legacy trait. When I logged back on the next day and its back to being Prodigy. Any suggestions on what I've done wrong or how to fix?
I've tried giving myself the balls again using Hero's but it doesn't open the UI (Don't know if this is because the balls are also back in the world)

This mod was loved by Chinese players a long time ago, but the delay in getting the Chinese language has caused Chinese players to give up on this mod, I hope you can add the Chinese language to this mod in the next update, thanks!:steamhappy:

Idk why people are upset ngl about it being changed to ki dmg it was something that makes complete sense before you just buff random weapons not designed to do 4x dmg and easily win. Anyhow if you still want full effects for stuff grab one of the DLC mods. Their added forms are still dmg boosts for free.

Maybe you can just have it as a toggle? Just if some people want the full effect for non-ki weapons? It can defiantly be a boost for whips and other physical weapons

honestly I'm genuinely not sure transformations having their Full effect for non-ki weapons is a good idea even with the current shitass damage type system. I tried playing mixed Ki/Mage and just felt like I was better off ignoring Ki and focusing entirely on Magic weapons. Which is boring and I don't like it.

Well, main reason was because I had to change the weapons because they weren't functioning correctly with stats (for example things that spawn off of a projectile; these don't inherit the damage type, so beams damage was calculated incorrectly and the crit damage was also ignored).
Fixing crit alone caused a huge damage increase, and too many players don't actually "play" this mod, they simply pull it for the transformation damage increase and sit there playing a ranger or some shit.

to be honest, I never really liked how locked-up the "classes"- or more accurately, damage types- in Terraria were. It just isn't that interesting to me if I can't mix and match things in more expressive ways, and Terraria's "you use the mage armor for the mage class" approach never really made me excited. Sure, there's Frost and Forbidden armor, letting you do SOME mixing, and OOA gear, but they're still... pretty on rails. and nothing does the melee & magic mix I'd wanna do.

THAT SAID, Ki weapons were designed with Transformations in mind, while vanilla weapons were not.

Frankly I just want a complete overhaul to the entire "class system" because I think it's a boring system literally any other game with something it calls a class system does better.

Seems that things that interacts with buffs will cause the character to freeze when in SSJ and etc. Easiest one that instantly produces this bug is the Challenger's Ring from Secrets of the Shadows (but also the Thorium mod vampire buff?? I got that in my log during the bug once.) Every time it's something along the lines of:

The first part is what's consistent between the errors. Whether or not the error is occuring during the addki bit is inconsistent, but it also occurs in addon mods (e.g. the dbz calamity addon) consistently in the update function.

I've figured out my reason - Another RPG Mod seems to overwrite the menu assets for Dragon Ball Terraria. I'm not sure how this works at all - does anyone have a suggestion to fixing it? It seems as if it used to work in the past.

Hello!! I have a very peculiar problem. Not serious, but I would like your appreciation, I'm already in mid-game Hardmode and I haven't died yet, so I still can't transform into SSJ1. I would like to suggest something for this. Like instead of just dying being the factor of the transformation, this 'invincibility' also has a factor. After 'Wall of Flesh' or any other boss, you are 100% guaranteed the transformation if not die yet. Maybe a specific trait.

For some reason, I can't see a ki bar, and when I open the transformation menu it's invisible, but still blocks my mouse. I have a fair amount of other mods though, so that could be it.

I don't know if anyone else has encountered this issue but when equipping the `Spiritual Emblem` before certain accessories, it's doesn't apply the 15% damage and instead removes 15% damage
