Thank you for the permission @Xenomedes . It wasn't the code I was asking after, but rather the idea. It's a good one, and I didn't come up with it myself, so I wanted to give credit where credit is due.
I've just released my mod.

The no-precursors idea is also a good one. I went ahead and implemented it.
It was a lot more challenging than I expected, both due to how I went about implementing it,, and because the game has additional safety checks to ensure that forebear ruins always spawn on the map. It was an interesting three days of tinkering... :)

Hi.
I'm working on a pack of extreme system quirks that I plan on releasing soon, once I've got a few more quirks sorted out.
I was wondering if you would mind me including this quirk in that pack, credited to you, as it's an excellent challenge that fits right in among the others.

I was actually surprised by how interesting it was to play with no forgeworlds! Congrats on a simple but fun mod with an excellent write-up :)

@Levana Or just disable the people -> bots options on remnants for a completely botless "Butlerian Jyhad" sector :) The mods write themselves!

I wonder if there's a perk for "no precursors- remnant worlds don't exist in this sector"... that'd mean you get ABSOLUTELY NO bots or chips, right?
