This helicopter is super cool it fly's super well but one thing if you could add to it are weapons missiles and a gun the missiles if you don't add I can understand but you must put on a machine gun on this helicopter :steamthumbsup:

This flies so well, even for it's size it feels pretty agile and fast. But most importantly you do NOT need to keep tapping arrow keys and WASD just to fly straight, it hold the altitude and you just WASD to fly, of course you need to use arrow keys to change the altitude and/or yaw but you free your other hand to the mouse so you can look around or interact with the buttons. The start up procedure is gladly documented in the description above, so even inexperienced pilot can get the heli started up and go fly it, also it feels realistic to go through the start-up checklist :) Very good. :steamthumbsup:

Are there any official (or known as compatible) pylons and stuff?

Also, you can't switch on the camera underlay on the MFD unless both outer MFDs are on the same view.

When you're going forwards, you don't need to use left/right arrow keys. You use A/D to yaw it.

Everything goes well.But i just got a problem when after I push W and it goes forward for some time then i want to yaw and push left/right the same time. It seems that it does't work.It seems that i can't goes forward and yaw at the same time

It does not come with guns pre-equipped. If you want to mount guns you will need to copy and paste a gunpod from our weapon pack and position it on the hard point.

Then when in the helicopter toggle master arm and press the relevant fire key.

I'm still tweaking the Gyrfalcon and making modules for the mounts based on SAR. Its inspired me to learn a little about the building in game, thank you. I was curious about the engine displays on the cockpit monitors.

I get that they have to do with power levels and stuff but could you give me a breakdown of what details i can get out of it? What are R T and P? What are the 2 Gs for each engine? This thing is a beast, i'm hauling an RV right now.

I figured it out based on some other forum posts. Currently game has a bug with the newest AMD drivers. Instead of rolling back my drivers I can fix it by cycing the monitor's power/screen or cycling between the different monitor detail levels in the settings menu of the game itself. After a couple resets they always start working right. Hopefully this helps anyone else seeing this.

the graininess sounds like a power issue as when power gets low monitors become staticky, have you ensured that the Generator Relay is On?

Thats super cool, definitely adds to the plethora of uses this aircraft offers. I made some droppable survival floats with basic rescue supplies for the weapon mounts but would love to carry some kind of cargo inside as well. If I could find anyone for multiplayer, would definitely be able to utilize more equipment like that. I was thinking about making some kind of weapon mount attachments with floats so I could land in calm seas but thats probably impractical. I gotta try haha.

One bug i'm experiencing (which may be a problem on my end) is the monitors. Best way I can put it is that some monitors sometimes don't display every sceen they can when cycling through them, and sometimes they look very grainy. I have monitor detail set to high. It's totally still playable.

"Loading Assist" Essentially refers to helping loading - one is "DORSAL FIN RETRACT", which will retract the lower fin on the tail, which makes it easier to load in cargo for when the ramp is level, a "Mule" vehicle is currently being made to cooperate with the Gyrfalcon which will take advantage of that.

The other loading assist button - "LANDING GEAR LOADING ASSIST", will retract the rear landing gear so that the helicopter will essentially "kneel" at the back, making the ramp incline less sharper and letting cargo be loaded in much easier.

"CARGO BAY FUEL PUMP OUT" will pump fuel out from the helicopter, into the cargo bay's loading winch, allowing you to pump fuel into any cargo of your choice, for example possibly an airdroppable fuel tank.

"CARGO BAY FUEL PUMP IN" will pump fuel from the cargo loading winch into the helicopter, which allows you to have external fuel tanks loaded into the cargo bay.

I like a lot of the vehicles in your collection but this is by far my favorite. I can't get away from it, using it in several playthroughs now for many different things. I just came back and started playing again after a break and noticed buttons in the cockpit for "cargo bay fuel pump" and 2 buttons referring to "loading assist". I couldn't find any documentation about it so instead of messing around and figuring it out, I'm using it as an excuse to come here and ask while also giving a big thank you for the builds! :)

AW265 Gyrfalcon Block IV Update:

- Improved & optimised flight control system
- New variable trim based off of current RPS & wind speed, unwanted yaw should be reduced by a lot.
- LWS (Laser Warning System) implementation alongside the original RWR, indicator can also show whether it is a laser warning or radar warning
- New rear wheels, prevents unwanted phantom yaw when engine off while on the ground
- Mouse Aim toggle on the laser gimbal camera, can be temporary disabled via pressing 5 on the seat
- Rear wheels now have taxi motors & steering

- Paradrop lights & indicators controlled by a panel just to the right of the cockpit door, (Red = Wait, Green = Go)
- Engine 1 & 2 now operate completely separately of each other, allowing you to fly with only one engine running
- Engine information is now displayed correctly (some dials were displaying Engine 1 info as Engine 2 info)
- Programmable laser guided missiles compatibility, use the JTAC wavelength controls to change the wavelength of an attached laser guided missile
* Only works with programmable wavelength missiles, wavelength operates off of composite channel 5
- Slightly increased fuel capacity again
