What it shows at game creation does not matter, as i wrote it in the description above. You have to check it ingame and even if it says 1.5 its working. Sometimes in my tests it even displayed the old % values of 267% mininng value. Dunno what they did there :D But it works

That's the thing, this was on a new save after the update, no conversion. And right after the update, I could see the mining yield was at 5x when choosing easy for that new save but now it only shows 1.5, even though the mod is working. Sadnesses 😭

Didnt notice that they changed the save format. Sadly got no old save file to test the conversion method for the update.
Maybe the unofffical community tool can help to open the *.save files, if not we have to wait to get proper tools for that. Online Save Editors doesnt seem to work for stationeers sadly.
If you want, I can upload an alternative version which should work on old converted saves.

This was working after the terrain update no problem (with a new save). Had something go funky with the My Games (Stupid OneDrive) and had to copy the save back to the proper location and now the mod doesn't work. Still works when I create a new save but this one other one doesn't. The saves are now in the .save file format - any advice since we can't edit world.xml anymore?

Teax, thank you so, so much for this. I fond the relevant files and was able to make the edits. I also appreciate the accurate information regarding overwriting. Right - these are separate difficulties, no overwrites!

Sure, its similiar to all steam workshop mods, they are inside your steam directory.
>steamapp/workshop/content/"gameID"/"modID"
For Stationeer the ID is 544550 and my Mod's ID 2824835577

And no, my mod does not overwrite anything from the base game. It adds new difficulties.

Fantastic. Knowing that mods overwrite the base game values, this suggests two things to me. 1) remove any yield modifying mods or 2) edit the mod itself. In both cases I know/assume I'll need to maintain the changes, which isn't a big deal. Looking in my Steam/..../Stationeers and users/.../My Games/Stationeers/ directories, I see no mention of 'Easy+' or 'Normal+' outside of the world.xml file. I used VScode to search all files in those directories.
Could you direct me to where the mod should be stored? Thanks in advance.

Yea of course, either you edit the difficulty files directly or via this mod. There are various multiplier inside which can be changed.

They are needed for custom difficulties right now, so that you respawn with the proper equipment and not naked like in the stationeer difficulty.

Greetings, sadly a known issue and as it seems not fixed until now.
With what you respawn depends on the specific lander, each world has its own lander and right now its not possible to make changes to the existing landers due to duplicate entry errors.
I'll look into it a bit more the next days and maybe add new lander options for the new difficulty settings. But for now, dont die until you got a safe respawn point.

New difficulty settings break the respawn conditions. The player always respawns without any equipment when using the "Easy+" or "Normal+" difficulty settings.

It would be really cool if you could somehow add the Easy+ and Normal+ to the world create menu when making a new world, but I have no idea if that is possible as I have not looked at how modding this game works at all. but apart from that everything is good now!

Glad you solved the issue yourself, could not figure out what the "mod order" really does, On my tests it mostly works loading after core but for some people it needs to be loaded before core.
Since this mod now adds new settings and dont overwrite any vanilla settings anymore it shouldnt matter. Whatever works, works :D

I have read the previous post and tried to unsub and resub the mod ect, however it always says that difficulty Easy+ is not found and then it reverts to normal.

What else can I do to get this working? what kind of info would be helpful for you to understand what is going wrong on my side?

Yea no problem im glad its working again :) Should also work on vulcan now (didnt before)
And yes the workshop implementation needs a little bit more tweaking to avoid those bugs :D

hmm reloaded save and resubbed to mod and it seems to be working now thanks again for followup and in the future ill try this before posting and good info for anyone whos using mods to resub before posting :P cheers

was getting 3x the ore on normal difficulty but it suddenly stopped dead to 1x ive reloaded save multiple times but its stalled ill resub and make a new game save to see if its just my save that bugged out ( wouldnt suprise me at all ) and ill edit this comment with update within an hour Teax thanks for followup

Thats not good to hear but what broke? I got no fortune teller ball and cant see whats wrong. On our end it worked fine and the transition between old and new save worked flawlessly.

Worked a few patches ago but had to remove it cause a custom worldsettings.xml would lead to errors. Couldnt find a solution yet :/

Yeah, to make changes effective for Vulcan, Mimas etc. you'd need to mod worldsettings.xml as well, but it doesn't seem to work. Not sure exactly why yet.

Does not seem to work on Mimus on current update. It does work on Mars, so I'm guessing Mimas now is in the same category as Vulcan.

The load order is really confusing and i dont get it.
I only use 2 mods and never changed the load order, yet both mods work on every planet.
(expect vulcan and loulan)
And please, dont spam comments.

upon further testing after reading through some of the comments, it appears that if it doesn't work, you need to switch your load order. For me it was working on the moon with normal load order Core at the top and ore yield at the bottom. Went to mars and now it only worked after moving core to bottom and restarting game.

I pushed an update and for me everything except loulan and vulcan worked just fine.
Even combied with easy difficulty, the yield doubled my values

Did some quick testing, and I can't get the mod to work (it worked for me previously) on Europa or Mars, with any combination of load orders

Thanks for letting me know, vulcan does hav its own ore yield table like loulan which i cannot edit without errors right now. Have to look more into it.
For the load order, for me the mod needs to be loaded last, could know figure it out why for some people is needs to be above core or under core. Logical it should be under core since it overrides the vanilla yield table

Double nevermind, For whatever reason, the ore rates on Vulcan specifically are vanilla, but other worlds (at least Europa) seem to have a modified amount

Does this require the use of a custom world preset? Custom worlds were removed, and creating a new world on the rocketry update didn't seem to affect my ore yields

Update: Lucky me i could still update the mod :D More Lots and lots is now as a new preset available! Tested it a few times local and worked fine. Tell me if something is not working please.

Thank you for the kind words. Sadly i lost my local files so for the moment no updates. If i got some spare time i'll look into it and integrate it into this mod and publish a new mod with both changes. I let you know if its done here in the comments :)
