I only know them because I live near the coastline in the UK and they are used alot rather than ferries.

I'm honestly surprised at how rarely hovercraft come up in conversation in real life. They're freaking awesome (in my unhumble opinion).

@micromic Because it has no wheels and turns with thrusters. Steering controls are absolute, it's not too hard once you've gotten used to it.

why are the controls when going backwards get reversed?

@joshua I don't know if I'll ever add any more, for you see I have The Depression™ and thus my motivation to do any particular thing fluctuates on a curve that resembles white noise with a low-pass filter. Which is bad. So maybe, idk, I get into and out of games at different times. Don't hold your breath though.

Of course anybody's welcome to do whatever they want with my mod, change it or copy code wholesale for their own mod, whatever man I'm not a cop.

can you please (if its not too difficult) make shift a "jump" and when you press shift AND space you get either a super jump or literal flight. (please)

you should add an option to have it always be hovering higher (as if you were holding space) and pressing space makes it hover at default height, or just have space and ctrl toggle

@leoniesuper.ls It sure does. It also floats so if you hold control to cut the hover engines you can drive it like an airboat; it moves slower but is much less drifty.

does it work on water?

when i use a hoverkart numbers scroll on the left hand side of the screen can you fix that?

@zagdima Absolutely. Wheels can be attached to movable joints (I think) and the hovercraft thrusters are easy enough to code to turn on and off.

one more question is it possible to make like convertible car from stock car to like hovercraft? do you think its possible...? i mean 2 in one with buttons press it will hover press again drive on wheels

That being said, it's possible in the future the hovercraft may be destructible if I settle on a system I like.

@zagdima Two reasons. One, I didn't have the patience to slave every one of the over a dozen thrusters to a specific destructible voxel, and two, these things run into stuff constantly so even if they were destructible I'd make them almost unbreakable in collisions since it'd make flying them a hell of a chore if you had to avoid bumping stuff.

@larry_walsh I have to admit, I was impressed at how persistent you were, and since you were here since way before the mod was popular I figured why not. Also your name pops up if you hover your crosshair on the hovercraft without jumping in immediately.

Ok, that pickle hovercraft is awesome and surpasses all expectations, Here, take my points.

@legitage I doubt I'll ask anybody to do it but if someone offers I won't turn them down, or they can publish it as their own mod-of-a-mod.

I bet other creators would be able to add pickles.

Can you have other creators ( like zagdima ) come out with custom hovercraft models for your mod?
