Yeah i did a few smaller vesions with conveysors and connectors inside ... though i dont see much practical use for any of them as they require lots of processing power sadly.

This wants a bit of expansion some gravity gens and glassage then dropping into it and you have yourself a tube transporter also could work as a miner tether for bring ore up to a hovering ship.... hmm

Either by unlocking the HiddenRotorPart in your CubeBlocks.sbc or by simply copy-pasting the rotor-rotor part (rotor head).
For that use ctrl+shift+c/x.

Please how did you conect the 2 rotors together like that? SETollbox?

A wire..or a giant prototype spine! Great thanks to you.

No issues on reload so far.

The two rotors are connected by unlocking the "HiddenRotorPart" within the CubeBlock.sbc and then placed them on top of each other.

Dude I love this show

how did you joint 2 rotors together like that???
DragonDave 15 Jul, 2014 @ 12:55pm
you make arm and legs and back spain out of that make a mechs robots with that :).

Could turn this into a supply line cable.

The moment is see this, I think, "how can I ruin this with artifical masses?"
I am evil.

Very nice. Set up a conveyer/collector system through the middle and you have a space tether/cable. Awesome work!

Yes i have seen the mostly L-shaped "chains" which had each 2 rotor elements (1 stator + 1 rotor). Those have been used for tank and grappler chains so far iirc.

I have however messed with other designs too, back in february (5 months ago) after the discovery of how multiple rotors act as seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLNiC0CBeco
Though thanks to the new rotor-copy-paste functionality, we can easily extend such structures now and thus i tried it again :)

I will see if I can find one. His may not be exact, I just meant they are very similar. :)

I havent watched any of the last 10 LSG clips and the only linkage i have seen there was a single rotor connected setup like a "chain" that gave the rotor ~300° rotational freedom.

Could you please provide a screenshot of his setup? (Sadly a video wont do it for me as my download speed is way too slow)

Aaron from LSG has used this type of build in several of his builds. Like grappling hook etc. Nice work though
