haha no that is a known error that has been tweaked in EVERY update i realeased. I JUST pushed v1.4 which changes a bunch of stats, check change notes, but i think were getting close to "PeRfEcT" hehehe

Hey, thanks for the insight on that, I appreciate it. I definitely respect that it's a balancing act, tow truck is much better with this re-balance applied, I just wasn't sure if I was crazy or if there was anything I needed to do parts-wise to change it.

Take any car.. get up to 50 and just crank the wheel to the side, the tires turn, but the tire friction ( Traction) wont allow a sharp turn. the Tow truck ( like tow trucks should) use huge special tires meant for pulling heavy loads anywhere in all weather, s i have been tweaking friction , mass, suspension with EVERY update, but yes, it is still a bit soft due to all these factors, and its a huge balancing act but we will get there!

@digitalbarrito Now the suspension was a bitch because the mass of the vehicle seems to effect the weight, which in turn effects the suspension, something i REALLY did not expect to have such an affect, is the tire friction.. the more friction, the better the front tires grip to turn at higher speeds... and the rear pulling vehicles thru off road conditions and stopping..( heavy loads push when stopping and will make the tires break traction and because this truck can tow anything up to buses and full RV's to some degree, with only so many factors to change the cars physics, its all a balance act.)

Hey man, wondering if the suspension for the tow truck can be stiffened up at all? or if I need a different type of suspension than I have, I have the performance suspension, and the suspension seems silly soft, if I turn all the way the body basically slams into the tires in the front. Not too sure, but digging the tow truck being properly useful otherwise

no prblems! there will be one more tweak ever so slightly on the truck before V2.0 but its much better then the orig and when i first mad the mod... the more i use it with towing things the more it needs lil tweaks

i am so sorry, as i am new to modding, i forgot you HARDCODE the REQ's in also. so i just released a hot fix that fixes that. SORRY GUYS!

It shows :NO ITEMS CURRENTLY MARKED AS REQUIRED.... I am not sure it would still show in the mod list, just be red and say its missing a required truck. let me test it.

@digitalbarrito @Nexus382 I guess that is why It does not show in my mod list. I unsubscribed from the new version and subscribed to the Original, as now in theory it would work again with the updated "Better Towing" mod.

@Nexus382 You still have the "Fixed" version of Harry's Tow Truck as a hard requirement for this Mod in Mod Manager, I'm unable to use it with the Original Harry's Tow Truck.

So i downloaded the RV and SCHOOL bus mods, and this pulls them as well, at about 75% max speed... so the power is pretty perfect, istill have to make some very minor tweaks to the tire traction and the suspension.

@highlandman.... it should... it does for me and everybody else.... but lok at the END f your mod list, for some reason, this one appears at the very end of my mod list and im not sure why. the other NEXUS mods i have are all together.

@Nexus382 Mod does not appear in the mod manager inside the game. Is this intended?

@digitalbarrito. It will work for both of them. so i removed it from the REQ list. I just released an update to fix the horrid steering issue as well, sorry about that one guys.

Would like to see this for the Original base Harry's Tow Truck that uses Better Towing. The one you currently have this for is the gimped version that someone released while Better Towing was broken. Better Towing updated June 1st so the original mod with more functionality works fine again.
