I tried using the L-shaped fabric passage blocks that are available to make a crude 'elbow' hinge passage but the collision tolerances caused the two grids to have A Bad Time.
Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'm going to have to remake these, as I took a look back at them over the weekend and realized that they are just really poorly made, and it makes it hard to make any edits to them without clipping everywhere, etc. I have a process in mind that I think is going to make it much easier to churn out new blocks, if it works the way I think it will.

Thus why I wasn’t seeing the graphics :)
.. asking for a friend.
And I am seconding the Extendable one mentioned below
As far as I'm aware, SE considers an airtight interior to be the empty space between six airtight blocks. The only way to pressurize the system would be to have separate top, bottom, left, right, etc. pieces and paste them together to make a "single" airtight passage.
These blocks are all airtight, despite being open on one or more sides when placed (please place responsibly), I just didn't want to limit the scenarios that they could be used in, so technically, you could slap one over a door, half block, etc., and have an "always open" passage through one of these, if you were so inclined.
@Xecutor I don't know how I would make the deformation work (or the action, since you'll be inside it), or if any of that's even possible, but I'll look into it.
If I recall right, the OG modded hinge had baffles as part of its design, like your blocks. If you ever consider tackling it as a challenge, you might be able to refer to that?
@jterry1124 Thanks!
