Like this mod, I made changes to the titles myself (since calling the children Viscount is incorrect), but it made me wonder how much regional localization is truly possible for some of these things.
FunGaming44 17 Sep, 2022 @ 6:50pm
Hope this will be updated and the mentioned issues below will be fixed, great mod

Good flavour mod. I'd like to know if is working with 1.7 please ? Thank you.
blockbuilderG123 11 Sep, 2022 @ 6:36am
Is this working on the latest version?
Deathspartan180 6 Sep, 2022 @ 12:27pm
I enjoy the flavor that this mod adds to the game which should have been in the base game imo, a problem I did have is that illegitimate children also inherit a title, and mothers of ruling dukes and "doux" are styled as "Marquise" in countries where Marquise would not have been used and more appropriately be styled as "Dowager Duchess." Nevertheless this is a good and useful mod and I hope it is updated.

Great mod!! I can't play without it now. The only issue I have is that the male children of the barons are called "miss" along with their sisters instead of the male equivalent. When you have time could you maybe change that? Thanks.
Tannenzäpfle  [author] 29 Aug, 2022 @ 1:50am
For everyone who use the german translation:
I updated the Localization, you have to install it manually like described in the discussion tab. It´s the same link, same google doc, same procedure, just replace the folder "german" with the new one

Been looking for something like this for a while. I was wondering if I might be able to use your mod for some of my own work. I've been trying to accomplish something like this for my own mods but wasn't able to figure it out. So would it be alright if I use your code to help me with my own mods. If not, that's fine.

Would it be possible to reach out to the creators of unified ui & custom form of adress, to create some compatibility patches?
Cytron 17 Aug, 2022 @ 9:32am
In what loading order should the mod be?
Kenn The Cooker 16 Aug, 2022 @ 5:12pm
Hi there. Great mod! However in my game, male children for baronies are addressed as Miss. Just to let you know.
perl 13 Aug, 2022 @ 2:58pm
Nice
Tops 12 Aug, 2022 @ 1:31am
I get a lot of males who are addressed as Miss...
Alcor™ 25 Jul, 2022 @ 8:48am
Amazing mod! Really makes families nuanced and fun! Could we maybe have the option to change the title of at least our children?
Liberater 4 Jul, 2022 @ 11:24am
would it ever be possible for this to be compatible with custom forms of address mod? perhaps even being able to customize the office and princely titles, just curious
Bodongs 2 Jul, 2022 @ 1:54pm
count_republic_latin_male to be specific. I'm thinking it may actually not be Governments+ since that seems standard.
Bodongs 2 Jul, 2022 @ 9:14am
A comp patch for Governments+ would be awesome, right now it gives them titles like "count_republic"
fisto the robo 2 Jul, 2022 @ 8:12am
Such that a landless claimant to the french throne would present himself as the rightful (or pretender) king of france. Theres claimant factions in game but theres also literal claimants, yet they dont even call themselves kings in public. That would discredit them in reality, since its like not ackowledging themselves as rightful rulers to court and people. Thats definitely more flavorful than bum "robert de somewhere" with useless stats, compared to "robert descendant of kings" and useful claimant king of france, in your court.

Also to some extend people whose lands got invaded should have claims on their old lands, and present themselves still as rulers of those lands too. Pretenders in exile.
fisto the robo 2 Jul, 2022 @ 8:11am
Steam/paradox's mod uploader system is finicky and mostly broken, sometimes it just doesnt want to update. Just upload it as a new mod to the workshop.

@exquirentius no your mod doesnt change anything about that, just since it tracks realm hierarchy titles and claims for localization, i wish it would also track succession claims on titles. I think it would also help you name and localize, since i believe people with claims on kingdoms in vanilla ck3 get called princes by default. Unless theyre direct children or from a 'princedom', they should declare themselves kings.
Tannenzäpfle  [author] 29 Jun, 2022 @ 3:34am
Any news for the update?
Gabe 28 Jun, 2022 @ 9:01pm
For lesser nobility their widows would be called dowagers, unless I am mistaken. Also I am curious as in France the heir to the throne is called the Dauphin, do you believe they should hold the Dauphin of Viennois?
Exquirentius  [author] 21 Jun, 2022 @ 1:41am
@noxovac Bad news is: I already found that error, as many have told me and I already fixed it into version 1.0.1 (with German added) but thing is that the very Launcher of this Game won't lemme update this mod, instead it generates new, different ID for my Mods EXACTLY EVERY TIME, thus resulting in numbers of new mod pages. I'm sorry but seems like I can't get it updated, at least for now.

@taesunwoo VERY INTEREST IDEA. DEFINITELY KEPT AND WOULD BE ONE OF THE FUTURE UPDATES THEN.
taesunwoo 20 Jun, 2022 @ 10:17pm
This is awesome. Will there be a Roman/Latin option too? I know you have the Roman/Greek tho but was just curious
noxovac93 20 Jun, 2022 @ 1:15pm
For some reason male children of barons are called Miss
Exquirentius  [author] 18 Jun, 2022 @ 10:35pm
@TheGib770 Actually your Guide is the one I relied on the most while I did this mod! It's very helpful and informative, like really. Thanks to you again in case you don't know how many merit you've commit to us new modder.

@fisto the robo Is that happen after using my mod? Cause there's none of the file overwrite the main game file and it's purely about Flavorization, and I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything with succession law or claim system cause the only file that's most complicated in the mod is in Customization Localization.
fisto the robo 18 Jun, 2022 @ 5:56pm
this mod keep track of filial and dynastic feudal hierarchy for flavor, but i noticed a problem that existed also in ck2: Say in anatic primogeniture, the king has 2 sons and 2nd son has 1 grandson. If the 2nd son dies, and then the grandpa dies later, then the grandson gets 0 claims on the kingdon. In reality the grandson should have a lesser legitimate claim from his father and lineage.
TheGib770 18 Jun, 2022 @ 11:12am
BTW my flavorization guide is searchable on Google by "Flavorization and localization Guide."

I heard some requests for 'Marquess' so there is an example in the guide
MattySwizz 18 Jun, 2022 @ 10:12am
Reading that just made me laugh because it soundeded very odd. No apologies needed
Exquirentius  [author] 18 Jun, 2022 @ 9:47am
@Def!led Oh my apology m'lord for that grammatical mistake, my native language is not English and I'm still trying to hybridize my culture with it tho but it's still ongoing lol
MattySwizz 18 Jun, 2022 @ 9:01am
"Will now be borned" LOL
Tannenzäpfle  [author] 18 Jun, 2022 @ 6:16am
This launcher has so many problems... I experienced it too. Maybe you can ask for help in a reddit forum or in this discord server https://discord.gg/j6UgghvS under "modding help"
Exquirentius  [author] 18 Jun, 2022 @ 5:02am
Umm... Seems like I'm having some problem now: it's about updating.

So recently I tried to update it to version 1.0.1 for German and fixing the baron's children error. Already done that. But the problem is, when I tryna upload it via mod, it generates a new mod ID and that made it separated mod. I also make sure to have [remote_file_id="2821825017"] in both files, and still it generated new mod ID anyway. I'm really desperate now. :steamsad: If anyone see this and used to update your mod, please provide me any way to do it or feel free to poke me a chat.
Exquirentius  [author] 18 Jun, 2022 @ 1:05am
@Willelmus, I did thought about addressing the children of counts as 'Lord' and 'Lady' but it's already used as in-game title for ruler of the counties in Wales so I decided not to. Thanks for your opinion, heheh. Agreed. I do put a lot of modern anachronistic views comparing to the time back then as you said.
Willelmus 18 Jun, 2022 @ 12:40am
I like it, but the titulature is a little anachronistic for my taste. A simple "Lord" is what most nobles would have been called before the standardisation of tiles of nobility in the 1400's. I could do with all those "Princes Royal" and "Princes Imperial", since before Edward the Black Prince was given the title Prince of Wales, "prince" meant "sovereign lord", not "son of a king".
Regardless, it's a good mod. Thanks!
Exquirentius  [author] 17 Jun, 2022 @ 10:41pm
@TheGib770, you've got to make their Dynastic Imperial or Royal parent landed in their own right first, m'lord, then their title will be styled after their landed parent (Mind you it's still depending on their Dynasty. If the grandchildren is no longer part of their parent's superior Dynasty). Otherwise unlanded Prince/Princess married to also-unlanded people will give a birth to Style-less Imperial/Royal Grandchildren, as their parent doesn't hold any title.
(BTW, this is PURELY OFF-TOPIC COMMENT: I really appreciate you using my mod as I'm using you and your team's EPE too! Your Mod's amazing I can't really play CKIII without it. Thank you so much for dedicating your skills and times for making the amazing masterwork for us, TheGib770!)
Exquirentius  [author] 17 Jun, 2022 @ 10:40pm
Oh @zoo, I checked it through the file and found a huge mistake from a minor flaw as you informed me: I forgot to change the loc name of baron's children apart from each gender, so it was rendered erroneously like that. I'll make sure it'll be fixed soon with next version (in which German translation will be added too). Thank you so much for reminding me!

@Dinobot, as long as the children of rulers have their birth styles colored, I'm pretty sure the Princelings and Princes the Grandchildren will be colored too.
Dinobot 17 Jun, 2022 @ 9:35pm
Awesome mod! Quick question, does it conflit with colored titles?
Iced Tea 17 Jun, 2022 @ 5:23pm
Great mod! I did notice one little issue though: in my game, the children of barons are all called Miss, even if they are male. This is an existing savegame, though, not sure if starting a new game would help.
TheGib770 17 Jun, 2022 @ 11:30am
So I got to ask how you got grandchildren, or do they have to be landed?
Robert 17 Jun, 2022 @ 10:26am
all right , thank you , so far it looks amazing !
Exquirentius  [author] 17 Jun, 2022 @ 10:21am
@Robert I've already checked the Mod before uploaded it and pretty sure it wasn't written over any main game file (as both file names and localization word is completely different from the main game one), so feel free for now.

But if in case any error occur, though, please feel free to poke me a notice and I'll be looking into it!
Robert 17 Jun, 2022 @ 10:02am
compatibility?
Exquirentius  [author] 17 Jun, 2022 @ 4:08am
@black Widow, ขอบคุณมากๆ ครับที่ให้ความสนใจขนาดนี้ เป็นเกียรติครับผม
@Dillo, WOAH, DANKE! I'll be sure to add it when I finally finish the description then
