So.. Major Update to Board

I removed the horseshoe board and replaced it with a custom flatter board.
Planets are larger with spaces for all three contact tokens.
All the spaces are the same distance between planets.

Had to move the World Cards to the side.

Yay. I figured out how to Find my Hera Model from my Cache.
Better figurine has been restored.

Update: Found a Dr. Aphra Model and Updated.

OK, I believe I fixed all the Pieces not importing (and fixed the Mission Decks).

I could not find a good Aphra model, so I reverted her back to the original Out Rim piece.

Models Needed:
Doctor Aphra (Replace 2D Stand-up)
Maz Kanata (Replace 2D Stand-up)
Hera Syndulla (Find Better Model)

If you see any Workshops with good models for them, send it my way.

Potential planned updates:
I have been playing with replacing the Game Board with a Custom one.
Completely getting Rid of the Glowing Table and replace with Flat Starfield.
Getting Rid of the Board and just have it in the Backgound tile.
Each Planet would be larger and it would have spaces for the three token Slots.

TNN... Good Catch.

At some point I took the expansion made by others as I liked the elements they added and Overwrote this Mod.
I noted that the Mission Cards were the Original Mission Cards and Reloaded the Scan from what I thought were my unfinished Business Scans. Must have been from the Hot Shot Expansions.

I checked the Original Came
90 had 4 Starters and added 0 in the UB Expansion
91 had 3 Starters and added 1 in the UB Expansion
92 had 3 Starters and added 1 in the UB Expansion

I found my scans and updated the Workshop to correct the starting mission Decks.

Thanks for the hard work!
This modpack has some great features, and I’d love to use it when playing with my friends.

However, we encountered an issue: it seems the game includes mission cards from the Hotshot fan expansion (for example among the starting missions), but not the corresponding map tiles. This has been very confusing for us—especially as beginners—and it’s unfortunately made us hesitant to use the modpack, despite all the awesome quality-of-life features it offers.

I hope this can be addressed!

Hey isn't it weird how I credited you on the table I made a few years ago, but you lifted a ton of stuff off mine without any credit at all? Funny, too, because if you were cool about it, we have models for the missing ones in our private save. Even funnier, because you lifted some of my worst work. Oh well.

OK. I loaded up the Game on my other PC and was able to find the Models that were in Error.
I fixed and Broke Items.
Fixed: Hondo, Lando, Hera, IG-88, Dengar
Broke Lando, IG-88, Dengar (No Bases)

Need to find Models for
Dr. Afra, Ketsu, Enfys

Maybe find Better Models
Hondo, Hera.

Still need Maz.

Hey - I have gone through Several other Star Wars Games and borrowed Assets.
I have taken the Roller, taken various miniatures.

One Asset I have not been able to find is a Maz Kanata mini. She is still on the Stand from the Original Scan. If anyone can point me to an STL file to build one or better yet a Workshop that has one, I would appreciate it.

So... It's been awhile. A community member took my original workshop and made some great improvements. Thanks Nonprophet.
I have moved some things around and updated with Nonprophet's updates.

There are a few tokens missing and I'm working on replacing.

@Embrodak I have reversed an old save game of your mod and published it so the Start Button can be hit and all the randomized tokens distributed on the board. Like I mention in the description, once you have decided to fix this mod (or just copy mine), I will take my copy off the public listing. Thank you!

So many model links have broken it's unplayable as of right now. Hopefully Embrodak will update and fix, because this is fun as heck to play.

Thanks for the mod! a couple things we ran into that might help....

1. Can you make all the big areas under the various places of the board interactable = false? People accidentally unlocked things and they flipped the board out.

2. the main table area could use a transparent surface that is also uninteractable. The things (patrols) we unlocked would fall through the table foreever....

Fantastic mod! Love the simple setup!

The Cad Bane card is fixed, but now the back of the Chewbacca character card shows Maz Kanata now.

Contact tokens & decks are NOT randomized upon load. There's no script for it - yes, I checked.

There used to be a setup button but that's been removed, with no randomization replacement to take it over.

@sutekhbaal, the cards and tokens randomize upon load so the setup button isn't needed anymore. The back of the Cad Bane card shows Maz Kanata though.

Hey, I'm not sure if this has been addressed or if there's a guide but I can't seem to find any help for it. When I load up the mod there's a preset, non-randomized board layout and no button to initiate a setup or reset the board, am I missing something?

So yesterday I just moved the 3 cards manually.
Today I tested it and I see the Deck has a different GUID as you mentioned. I updated the GUID and tested. It is working.

The script for Luxury Deck is empty, I have renamed the deck to Luxury Deck, i copied the LUA from another market deck to Luxury Deck, and in game_prepare function I have modify the new GUID of Luxury Deck "eb2aea".

OK I figured out how to fix the error. The problem is with Doctor Aphra and Hera's model.
The Collider URL what is in both of them is wrong (404 Not Found):

I just simple replaced it with an other one from Jyn Erso's model:

Do with both of them:
1. Right click on the model-> Toggles -> Lock (basically unlock): and the modell will fall down but in time will be come back over the table
2. Right click on the model -> Custom
3. A CUSTOM MODEL window will pop up: replace the wrong Collider URL with the right one in there
4. Press button [Import] button and the modell will fall dawnt to the table. Done.
5. Save the game and never owervrite. Do this before you press the [Set Up Game] script button. So you can load it back if you want to play again later.
6. Enjoy this super board game.

I fixed the Script.
When I performed my last update it changed the GUID's of the Market deck and striped the Script on the Deck.

Thank you for your patience.

Being in IT, I should know better and making sure I had a backup for my Change Release. I didn't think changing the Name and adding a Description would have changed the GUID, so i just proceeded.

My game was crashing due to mod threading. Got that fixed but I still cant grab Dr Aphra or Hera figures. Any suggestions?

After you clear the lines in the script, you'll have to go to the top left of the scripting pane and hit "Save and Play". It'll reset the mod but with your changes to the script. You will have to to do this every time you play, though.

Could you be more specific on how you got the script to work? I went into modding and scripting. Saw the start button, but didn't see line numbers, so I deleted
BountyDeck.call("ShuffleAndDeal") and the next 5 lines.
Clicked setup game and still got the error message.

I did a little bit more troubleshooting of the mod. The only things that don't work in the startup script are the shuffling of the market decks. When I deleted lines 94-99 of the startup scripts, the rest executed without problem. Only had to manually shuffle and deal the market decks. I'm guessing adding tooltips to the individual cards (which I noticed you did - nice touch!) did mess up their deck labeling. You can even see this when you hover over the tooltip of the market decks - most of them are no longer labeled (like the Cargo Deck for example).

Still a killer mod, just want to reiterate how much I love this one and appreciate the work you've done on it.

Hmm.. I made some changes to the decks by naming the cards. I just played it and encountered the errors with the start button. I'll have to find some time to review. (Tonight we wanted to play so we just manually setup.)

Hi @Embrodak - my friends & I really loved this table - so much so that I scripted a bunch of stuff for it, I kept a bunch of your solid original design, but changed or made more efficient a bunch of stuff too. If you'd like, let's be friends - I have the mod up and available for my friends. If you end up liking it, I'll let you publish my save - if you give my friend & I that worked on our remix credit of course.

Anyways, I added:
- cycle deck buttons
- encounter draw buttons
- buy market item buttons
- a revamped setup
- re-orged the table layout to allow for the dice roller front & center
- a textbox input to draw databank cards (encounters and databank on either side of roller)
- a whole bunch of other stuff I can't think of atm

anyways, if you wanna check it out - give me a friend request, and let's talk! and if not - thank you very much for such a great base of a mod for me to remix!

I'm also getting the Start Button error that Ralias and kasakuie are getting. I looked at the script - it places the ambition cards correctly but then errors on line 94 of the script:

BountyDeck.call("ShuffleAndDeal")

From the function onLoad () part of the script, I see that it is defining BountyDeck as UI object 97ddc0, but when I look at the UI objects within the scripting, it looks like that object doesn't exist. Is it possible that some objects were accidentally deleted when you were making other changes to the mod?

Love the mod, by the way, really appreciate the work you've put into it. It works great. Cheers!

I get the same error as Ralias. It deals out the correct number of Ambition cards then gives the Error message and doesn't do any of the other setup stuff after.

Hello - maybe I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm getting this error whenever I hit the "Start Button"
