As has been said already, Scout is centered around his shotgun. Giving the Scout a Tommy gun hybrid would look really strange in-game. The weapon itself is great, but this should not be given to the Scout.

just make it shoot shotgun shells it could have more range and clip but less store ammo and have lower fire speed

as cool as it looks, giving Scout an automatic rifle (in this case a Tommy gun) would go against the game's design being primarily around shotguns and other manually loaded items, like rocket and grenade launchers.

this looks like an automatic weapon and scouts whole game design is centered around his primary being a shotgun thats only useful up close so I dont think this should be in the game, also in early tf2 trailers you can see scout used to have an smg but tha clearly didnt work out, the model does look nice tho

if this is a restock of the scattergun i think its cool. Shame that none of scouts primaries ever got reskins though the only thing that i would say is that at first glance i thought it was an automatic

I absolutely ADORE styled weapons like this, that manage to feel (enough) like a functioning gun while also looking absolutely unique. Guns that manage that while ALSO fitting the game's artstyle are few and far between, but this is definitely one of them!
