Hey, I wanted to reply.
First, thank you so much for looking into this!

After reading your reply, I decided to try loading the mod again by re enabling it and just seeing what happened.

For some reason, it worked fine. Have not had any issues since, so I'm not sure what happened, but it has kinda of just stopped being an issue, so I thought I would relay that information to you, since you were kind enough to look into it.

If I have any problems in the future I will try the load order and other suggestions as well. I appreciate the time and effort.

P.S. How much would it cost to have you add a silenced version of the MP5K? Maybe as a separate mod?

I tried using it with a new save and a save from 7 months ago, neither gave me any issues. I did test it with all of this mod and my manhunt mod enabled. It may be a mod conflict.

Have you added anything new to your save since you last ran it? You can check the console log at "C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Zomboid" for any errors near the bottom of the file. They usually list what mod or item or script caused the error. These guns also use vanilla mags so make sure you don't have anything that changes any vanilla weapon mags.

Also double check that you do not have any potential conflicting mods that are enabled on game boot through the "MODS" button on the main menu, and the mod list order for the save, that is important to make sure things load correctly.

Hey, I think this needs to be updated. Now when ever I fire a gun the game hard crashes.

Yes, the silenced weapons have a shorter sound radius, I think the DIY Sniper in my manhunt pack has the shortest sound range.

Yes, the melee weapons and tools should have similar functionality to the vanilla weapons and tools. I do remember having some issues using my mod's screwdriver for something like car parts.

What issue with the AUG, please explain.

My packs are compatible with the vanilla game and most other mods that only add items. If there are any features added in other mods, like silencers/other attachments or weapon reworks, assume that the features added in that other mod do not work with anything else.

You are free to make your own versions of this mod, adding/removing/changing what you want. I can't make a special version for everyone that asks. If you just want to remove certain weapons from spawning, you simply edit the "media/lua/server/items/...definitions" file.

Everything in my packs is listed in the photos and descriptions.

Hey, nice mod, have been using it since I don't know when, but in b41. With b42 I have my own set of problems, mostly balancing spawns of weapons between different mods. My I ask you to make a separate mod or a, how to call it, file inside existing mod that adds only pistol from GTA:SA? I hate pistols in other mods, they are either undersized or oversized. But colt from SA is a thing of beauty. But rifles I prefer from other mods. So may I ask you to made a separate file just with SA's 1911 and standart PZ mag please?

for that mp5k bug, ive tested in both builds with vanilla and custom mags, wasnt able to recreate that issue. is that in b41 or b42? vanilla mags or custom mags? new save or preexisting save? how are you aiming, with ctrl or holding right click?

Weird bug with the MP5K: When holding down the left mouse button the gun will stop firing after 4-7 shots until I let go of the left mouse button and click again to fire. It seems kind of weird.

I've been trying to, but I cant seam to find it.
I do a lot with fire arms, so this has always been a big pet peeve of mine.
IRL most guns rarely jam, it mostly happens under certain circumstances,

For b42 they did lower the degrade chance from 1/60 to 1/200 for vanilla firearms so they should be breaking down slower since I copied their changes. I can probably double the max condition from 10 to 20 for all the firearms in the next update. There should be a firearm jam chance multiplier in the sandbox settings that you can mess with.

I do love this mod, the suppressed 1911 is my favorite, and in reality would be a good choice in this kind of scenario

I was wondering if the durability of the guns could be raised?
All guns in this game have way to low durability to begin with, and it bugs me just how much all guns in this game jam after a few mags.

You "can" run this alongside that firearms mod, but these weapons won't be able to use any of the stuff he added into his mod, A lot of things are hard coded in the game and aren't that dynamic. The ammo MAYBE, but everything else would require extensive work. The only kind of dynamic thing i have found so far is stuff involving recipes that read the tags of an item.

If I wanted to use his features like new attachments then I would have to copy a bunch of his code and cannibalize it for my mod. Then I would have to keep up with his updates as well to see if he changed anything that I copied over, the guy seems to update that thing a decent amount so that puts way more work on me. Oh and getting permission from them in the first place to use their code, before I would even have to do any of that. If the game was more dynamic with things like attachments and mags, then maybe I would have had a go at it.

I've had your mod favorited for years. With the advent of build 42 I have been fiending for a mod that adds grenades since there's already a plethora of military mods. It is finally time to try your mod once more and I look forward to it. That being said, have you considered doing a compatibility patch between your mod and the mod "Firearms B42" by Hyzo? :CrowdControl:

This mod is pretty good but can you please make a plugin (like the standalone melee/gun files) for just the explosives? So they can be left out or kept in without the rest?

hope i can see this get the work it needs, like working for sp and mp/host, and working well with other mods mostly because i really love the ingram/mac and i have yet to see a mod for the gun that works mainly in host mode.

Yes, I understand that some stats are from GTA games. My favorite was always m16 from GTA3. But even then I thought 60 round mag was too much.
Maybe unite some of the items for convinience and more clear view and put stats in line? Like all m4/16 30 mags, let items use standard mags, like classic 9mm m1911 already uses 9mm mag from the game. Create 30 mag for smgs and stuff like that.
My critique comes from the love of this mod. Please at least think about this. And thanks for the mod!

Hey, really great mod! I like britta's weapons, but some of them are little too big, and here - just perfect!
But I have some complaints/suggestions. Icons. Yes, they are very good for recognising which weapon from what game. But they are sticking out way too much from general aesthetics of the game. As a suggestion, how about leaving pictures as they are (to not spend time redrawing them), but chenge color to be more in line with items' icons in game?
Second thing - way too much mags. And long names. It is just too cluttering. Like mk1 and mk2 mags for m4, they are basically the same, some of them has too little of a difference. And stats.
