the ballast thing when going out of the water it a bug from the game, would happen on any sub. its very sad.

you should make the ship that transported alvin, also is it possible to fix the ballast, once you load him onto a ship and then put him back into the water the ballast won work anymore, great model tho!

its a game bug when intake ports leave the water and start sucking air while working.

ballast wont go over 12, definetly an error somewhere

dont lift it or make the sub jump out of the water while running the ballast

so there is a bug, that fluid ports stop working if they switch from water to air or air to water while scooping. this makes the tank to get stuck on the value it was when it happened. so probably that bug going on there.

im not sure what im missing. Im trying to dive. Sub is on and is maneuverable on surface. Air tanks are full. Genny is on. I set a depth of 50m DBT is 80. Ballast tanks do not flood. If the "set ballast" switch is toggled on or off the ballast light doesnt turn on. and the tanks read between 9-12. Only way im able to dive is by setting ground follow. doesnt matter how deep i am ballast remains the same.

yea but Alvin did the first dive in 1986, then later the movie was made with as you said the dives of MIR-1 and MIR-2. i believe i never stated that it was used in the movie.

Just a random thing, the ship from the movie Titanic actually launches a Russian submarine called the MIR-1 and the MIR-2, the Alvin (I don't think) was never used in the movie, I may be wrong about the Alvin part but it was a Russian ship and submarine

no, maybe you could kinda develop a rack for it, i tryed but couldnt get one to look nice, so i discarded it.

Can I stow Jason somewhere or is the only mode of transport to have it follow me?

gerunimo made dsv-3 not alvin, his is more realistic and with nicer details. but harder to use as a sub for normal missions in stormworks.
