Haven't updated this mod in... a while. Pretty sure it isn't compatible with Immersive Repairs.
?
They protect Mechanics against common job hazards, giving 70% protection against:
Burns (Acid, Fires, accidental Welding or Plasma burns)
Bite Wounds (Fauna encounters during extravehicular operation)
Lacerations (Fauna or Guardian encounters during extravehicular operation)
As such, they also reduce Bleeding by 80%.
They also give 90% protection against concussions and 50% protection against blunt trauma - it will be slightly less painful if a crewmate hits you accidentaly.
They do give a tiny amount of Gunshot protection, 10%.
Diving Welding Helmets have an integral Diving Mask, repairing pumps and ballast hulls is pretty common, so using one of these will make changing headgear unecessary.
But remember, *it just protects your noggin*, it's function is to prevent your precious skull from exploding to bits after a crewmate smacks your head with a wrench (it happened to me), but it doesn't protect the rest of your body. Be robust, but also be cautious.
1. Helmets for a security officer
2. Surgical mask
3. Bulletproof vests with holsters
4. and also armor does not make people invulnerable to bullets
Tried finding issues with a friend but it seems to work fine for us
