Hi i was wondering if I could upload a modified version of the magpie as a SAR? with credits ofc

2a. For defense it is unrivaled, however. I flew 16 sorties in 30 minutes. Power on, exit hanger, fly towards the coast, fire, back to hanger, repeat. You can't start and deploy some ground vehicles this fast!

3. We lightly modified ours for our needs and that included adding a 3rd hard point, but in hindsight I advise you switch out the pylons for items in the Falkner-Muir weapon line. 2 x2 25mm cannons was a lot of fun.... We use 2 IRM-20s for very effective AAM and RM-19s for ground/air mixed missions.

Amazing craft and we love it. Add C4 and medical for special operations. With these additions it can also do a mild SAR role if you have a copilot willing to jump out the side sometimes.

Comprehensive Review for people looking to field this airframe in 2024:

1. Amazing craft. The Magpie is the star of our fleet. VERY stable, VERY reliable. Runs on diesel so we are never thirsty for fuel. Fast take off, good control response, very maneuverable. It blows in a wind a lot as expected for a smol craft and it's not terribly fast, but we do not find it lacking in any regard. Minimal console makes flying easy. It's simple and just helicopters. This is an honest and 1:1 simulation of a real AH-6 little bird, and I love it.

2. only drawback to not use it in every engagement is its limited payload. Since it has only modest speed, it takes a minute to get to the target and when your missiles are gone in 2 seconds you now have to fly back to rearm and hope the opposition doesn't flee or repair.

Helicopter is awesome. Paired with some guns from the weapons pack it is great for fighting the meg with my buddy on the water in a ship.

really great helicopter, quick start up, quick take off, reliable, pretty quick, easy to use even though it explodes in like one shot, its still good

I know this is stupid but could someone make a variant with radar tracking missiles? i tried and i cant get mine to work.

You can not believe how good this helicopter feels to fly, there is nothing more that needs to be added to this heli

you can remove the missiles and attach them yourself with rocket pods from the Newquay Weapons Pack :)

I do not wish to work on the magpie any longer, you may need to figure out what you broke yourself

i'v been working on a few different ver's of this little guy and now it seams to have failed as it die's trying to start it, also dose not go to full rpm. if u could help me with the heli would be great thank u and have a nice day. :) bty i did the name as "ARH-6b.
