Distant Ores

Hi, I wanted to share a finding from playing and testing with this mod.

When using Distant Ore, it seems that all forageable plants (berries, vegetables, mushrooms, etc.) are missing from the surface of planets. I tested this on vanilla Earthlike:

With the mod disabled, I was able to find harvestable plants within a few minutes.

After saving, reloading, and enabling the mod again, those same plants disappeared.

That makes the game playable only with farmed algae or seeds from traders and PVE encounters.

I thought I’d leave this here in case others run into the same issue, or if you ever decide to update the mod

Try out
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2819263781
Then Remove Ore Detectors entirely.

The Ore Detectors as they are can be resource heavy. Boosting range makes it worse.

is a great option but

Hey Physige,
I am currently using Ore Detector Reforged and it's Companion Mod which limits the search range.

Hey! I was interested in using this for my next playthrough. You mentioned getting an Ore detector mod. Are there any specific ore detector mods do you recommend?

If you want use Bush Be Gone and Distant Ores together, you'll want use "Bush Be Gone with Distant Ores" instead. As seperate mods, one will overwrite the other.

The ore depths and are similar to AQD - Vanilla Ore Distribution. Magnesium is only on Europa and Titan... each planet's ore types is the same as that of AQD - Vanilla Ore Distribution.
The main difference is that ore deposite location are now completely different than the Vanilla locations and farther apart.

Looks like a greate combination of features, a few questions:
How deep are these ores, deeper then in AQD - Vanilla Ore Distribution? And is there no magnesium on earth or pertam? What about the boulders on the surface?
