Yeah we emailed valve a short while back and they weren't at all interested in changing the texture, they only accept changes if an item is broken or super outdated etc.

Yea I wish the Liquid Assest wasn't team colored. It's hard to make a matching outfit when the weapon itself doesn't change. Maybe now that it's in the game you could try and update it to use the same color on both teams. If Valve doesn't like it then they wont do it but it wouldn't hurt to try. But it's your hat, if you like it red then that's your choice.

That's alright, if someone accept the red variant, but for me it's too bright.

Wouldn't it have been less risky to just... match what already exists in the game? like why did you need to make a team colored item out of a already not-team-colored item? we were already gonna get the solid team colors anyways (I know valve doesn't always include all styles or they'll see a "full set" some1 designed and only accept one part of it or whatever, but still)

i totally get why people don't like the red variant of liquid asset, but i was worried that keeping it blue would hurt its chances of being added from Valve. It was a bit of a safety play and I still personally like wearing the red version

I think the Liquid Asset team colored was a bad idea. I mean I like that skin from the blu, but why is it possible to have made a red variant? It was a really bad idea!!! But at least, it's a really good looking item, and I'm happy of all of these memories skins from this hat.

me and rab were considering doing thunderbolt or purple range, but we were anticipating a lot of complaints about it being super bright neon lol. If people would prefer that though then we can maybe change it

just one thing, how come every hat is all high tier except sniper, where its based off night owl, a mercenary grade skin, i wouldve expect it to be something like thunderbolt or purple range

I chose a bucket hat because it is a hat with lots of surface area to better show off the designs. Baseball caps have too little surface area and fedoras/trilby’s don’t always look good on weird head shapes like heavy, so bucket felt the most appropriate

it's a neat idea, not sure about the bucket hat part, maybe if it was another type of hat it would work, but overall nice concept.
