EDIT: I found the problem, I added one new mod, planar engineer and it conflicts with this mod.
I've never done a submod like that, (except personal mods that copy the other modder's code) but I can take a look and see if I can this weekend.
only vanilla, you can change my mod to work with a custom race. Its pretty easy. Copy paste my commands into the custom race's mod. make sure you don't copy "selectrace"
I can't do it on my end without causing ctd for users that don't have the custom race enabled.
I would love to coordinate with you and help in any way possible in expanding this mod. If you'd like you can add me and we can discuss what you'll require to get the recruitment options for the leaders.
You are correct, I cant make this mod work with custom classes. You could on your end by copy pasting the text of my mod into the custom classes mod file of your choice. The way that COE5's modding works, If i did it in my mod, it would throw up errors for anyone that did not have the mod, and installed in the correct order. I will investigate this for a work-around though.
I could make it so special officers are unlocked, I could make it dependent on that special commander being at a city or special recruitment tile. There are so many to go through, it would help if users like yourself gave me a list of units they would like to see added (and where). I cannot guarantee that I could put this together quickly, but I can start working on it and update slowly. (Between real life work and a map I'm working on, I'm kinda busy.)
I've noticed that with custom classes that it doesn't work I believe, I wanted to confirm that with you as an observation
Also, is there any way for the troops of the special officers be unlocked? Like a witch's androphags, or a high lords tower guards.

Not all commanders are available, but many are.
Unfortunately There is no chance of commanders from new classes showing up.
1. Are ALL vanilla commanders able to be recruited?
2. Is there a chance of modded commanders also showing up or is it only vanilla ones?
