Hey WarriorJ, this skin is really awesome, i managed to make a detailed normalmap of it, can i reupload it and credit you to the revamped ver? or i'll upload the normals somewhere so you can update this mod with the normal map?

@kellymiker, there are a few mods that change the M1A1 into the Zastava M76 (Yugoslavian version of the SVD)

This mod is my favorite SKS mod. For those who can't tell the difference, the color is a little bit more "yellowish" if you will, the wood looks older and gritty, and it has that black tape at the buttstock. Doesn't sound like much, but I think it is perfect because it keeps the game theme.

Today I went to a gunshow and purchased a norinco SKS with a similarly colored stock . Upon returning home I immediately got some eletrical tape and wrapped it around the hand grip. Needless to say I fucking love this skin keep up the good work.

P.S. You should do another reskin of the sks with a polymer magazine , much like the Tapco mags people usually use for the SKS.

have 3/4 mods i enjoy them alot.. i was wundering if u could make a reskin for the m16 so when u but a sight attment on the weapon the front iron sight goes away? i hate when i am the weaponn an i have sight attment on an i can still see the dam iron sight

So, I've been having trouble getting my weapon skins to work in game. I tried getting rid of mods and reinstalling them and it worked a while ago. Last night I realized I didn't have this skin, so I reinstalled it. Now, my skins don't work anymore. I am afraid it might be something with this skin that is making things act up. This is unfortunate, because I do enjoy this simple mod.

@douglasmatthewstewart the skin you see when your holding the weapon is different then the skin used in other players hands or on the ground. I made it so the "world model" that you see in those instances matches the one you wield.
