update for new type 2 spinny detector plz!

Все работает збс. Переставляешь детектор и ждешь пока прогрузится скан. Как автор писал, скан жрет цп, поэтому время сканирования мб долгим.

This is just broken, the "fix" doesn't work and it doesn't detect things at random. Currently standing a few meters from iron ore and nothing lights up

Works fine, just detroy your existing detector block in order to rebuild it and get it perfectly working

@Moribax I got the same issue. My best guess for what happens is that when you activate the mod and load the world, all ore detectors perform a 2000 radius scan, but because the game isn't designed to handle It the scan gets stuck and can't complete. For me the solution to fix the issue was to remove all the ore detectors in the world and rebuild them. Hope this helps

Confirmed, it brakes saves, Ore detectors don't work anymore after activating the mod

Hi Gawdstone, I've found on multiplayer that it likes to do that. it's quite frustrating. Unfortunately I think this limitation is game based and not mod-based. If you have any suggestions for me to tweak in this mod, feel free to let me know. :)

So I tried this on my dedicated server hooked up on to my station on earth like planet worked for like an hour was able to find gold and put on an antenna to make it stay as I travel to the gold finished the deposit saw some silver made my way there deposit signal disappeared I dug around the area no silver. I also tested this out on a rover made my way to Ice and it no longer is detecting ore not even the ice and im right on top of the ice so this seems to break games?

@Quantum It depends on the way you are playing unfortunately. It's not "ideal" to have a 3500m ore detector on non-dedicated worlds. It's just one of those "ridiculous" things I wanted to tweak.

mod breaks after first scan, even after uninstalling the mod and going back to vanilla vanilla scanning was also broken, i had to restart my game to get vanilla ore scanning working again

@comoloid yeah if there is another mod in your pack that is editing ore detector range, it's probably overwriting this one.

It is not working for me - I tried it at the top & bottom of my mod load order. Maybe another mod is messing with it, though this is the only ore detector mod I tried running at the time. I hope it works for others!
