Huge Ore Detector!

11/24/2024 Update: Wanted to let you guys know about the inconsistencies behind ore detectors and why the ranges are so "buggy".

The C# code that is associated with the ore detector loops through all of the voxels around your grid. When the detector's range is increased, the number of loops increases exponentially.

Test it out for yourself! If you're on a planet, and you have the detector maxed out, turn it off and wait 5 minutes. open Task Manager and look at your CPU usage per core, then turn it on. Your cores will max out for several minutes, then ores will pop up.

The better your CPU, the faster those ores will be detected when on planets. When in space, it will respond much quicker due to there being less voxels out there.

So if you're having trouble, turn off the detector and wait 5-10 minutes, then turn it back on. It takes time.
